Jeez... Jasmine and two of the cats are wrecking one of the lavender bushes. There must be a mouse or some other little animal in there somewhere, because they just won't let up. A well-aimed spray of the hosepipe might do the trick. If it's a mole, I kinda hope they get it... Although the cubs would give me terrible stares of disapproval if I had to voice that sentiment.

A wile back I posted a picture of a grandailla (passion fruit) blossom. I've been a tad bored this morning, so herewith a progress update:

Once they turn mostly purple, they're ready to be harvested. Best when left until the skin dries out and becomes wrinkly. Like some people, they get better with a bit of age on their side. A certain amphibian comes to mindI'll do whatever it takes
