Full of good news I am this morning.

My darling daughter is flying out to Barcelona (16th Jan) then up to Paris and then coming home 22nd all by herself. Now this was a girl who could barely get to work with out a major panic attack little over a year ago.

It seems by dumping this boyfriend she's found a huge pair of big girl's pants and decided to have some serious me time.

Now that I've had a bit of think.

No 1: Change ring tone on your mobile so it shouts TAXI every time it rings or a text comes through.

No 2: Remember never, ever to criticize what she's wearing. Always say that looks nice, even if she's died her blond hair jet black. It'll really puzzle her.

No 3: Agree with any piercing she may wish for. Especially the bellly button one. Leave pictures around of septic ones in full view. She'll soon go off the idea and then be chuffed she thought about it.

No 4: Agree on a curfew exactly one hour before you actually want her in. So she'll think she's bucking the rules.

No 5: All the fun aside, always be there to listen and listen hard.The tiniest thing can often eat away and may not be obvious when they're wittering away about why they can't have the latest trainers, hair band or skateboard.

hellooooo army... i didnt quite make the morning..... i just lurve me duvet n pillows n kitty cuddles. i was a bit twitchy last night but started playing a game we got for christmas called 'go'. i never heard of it but its really old. first attempt at playing and it. the basic rules and aims are really simple but it seems to get sooooooo complicated. we got a book on becoming a 'master' at it..... on page 3. hmmmmm ..... couldnt possibly play it drunk so thats a good help to stay sober

Good afternoon Army.
Better late than never.
Still feeling a bit miserable I have decided not to do the burning martyr anymore and kick myself into a positive mood before I give in to wallowing in self pity mode.

It is a lovely thought that I could be the fastest woman in the world but alas I only hold the record around here.
I probably win so many races because serious opposition does not turn up on the day.
However,I am very proud of getting to this level of fitness after abusing my body for so many years.

Afternoon Army

Sorry not been about I spent Friday evening until now in the hospital with Cerys her mum needed a much deserved break and I got quality time she's now on the mend thank god but they still want to keep an eye her to avoid any further infection, spoke with the surgeon this morning who explained it was a very severe case, basically on a scale of 1-10 she was 10! Hence why they won't discharge until all clear, they've taken more swabs from her scar today and more blood so hopefully if all ok she may be allowed home tomorrow.

Sorry I've not done the update, duty will resume next week

On the subject of daughters all I can say is don't get me started :H:H but they truly do become your best friends ( when at a distance!)

I got Rummy nose tetra
Guppies. tiger barb and some new plants. our tanks looks awesome.....
