    Army Thread 9th January

Hi Stirly, Zen that is kind of you to say but I am very aware that this is a group effort and we are all here to support each other. There is nothing worse than seeing people posting 'it's all about me' and not taking the time to contribute to others in any meaningful way. And before anyone gets paranoid, as us lot are prone to do, I am making a general point about MWO not any particular person.

PS: just to clarify, the reason I say this is that you could hardly be accused of that and should feel free to talk about whatever is on your mind. I assure you, you are not burdening anyone Zen.

And hello again to all the above

Back from a run and in spite of a traumatic incident en route I feel back to my old self.

I have to say that this forum/thread is a life saver because we are allowed to express our feelings and mostly get them valdated.

There are some very wise people here who have a real gift with words and multiquotes. :new:

                Thank you Army people.

                      :hallo: Army

Post-lunch check-in. It's a lovely day outside. I'm sure it's going to be sweltering when we get back to Stellenbosch, but Cape Town itself is stunning.

Regarding the convo a few pages back: in "real life" I'm a very solitary person - prefer my own company. I don't make friends easily and neither do I hold conversations well. This place has allowed me to open up a bit. OK a lot - given my post count. Once I get to know people, I can natter away, but the initial "getting to know you" bit is always a huge obstacle. I was nervous as hell before and a bit tongue-tied when I met up with Grim, Sunbird (wonder what happened to the two of them?) and Raggsy.

What traumatic incident happened, Mrs. A?
                      I'll do whatever it takes

                          Good Morning Army
It's nice to be up early before the army thread gets so long I can't possibly get through it!
It's a very pleasant read this morning with people reaching out to each other in such a friendly and supportive manner. Which is always the case on this thread. You all have created such a wonderful warm place to visit.
Lots of work for Wally on this side of the pond. So I won't go on and on.
Hope you all have a happy, healthy, productive day.
