Hilarious videos!!

I looked for a similar youtube for a southern US accent and all I found were people who couldn't do them. We always laugh when Hollywood tries to cast a non-southerner to do a southern part. They never get it right.

However, here is a southern comedian. Sounds normal to me so I figured it was a good representation of a southern accent.

(Although southern accents vary from state to state, from drawls to twangs.)

Hi - I am new here. ZenStyle pointed me in the right direction.
I have been staying warm and safe in the newbie nest and some of the other starting out threads, but it is time to branch out a bit.
I am Scottish by birth, my dad was in the RAF so moved a bit and grew up in England - still claim my Scottish roots thou. I went to California as a 25yo and very close to 25 years later am still here! Zen told me I would find fellow brits here, so say Hiya to you all

Anon - I live about 90 miles east of San Francisco - it is not a great city to live in, but great to get to lots of places. I work very close to San Fransico, I can drive to Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, San Fran, the North Coast in a day - Napa too, but trying to forget about that just now as I love it there, but think it may not be the same without the wine :upset::upset:
JC - i am on weight loss mission too - i did pretty well, but am stuck now and can't get rid of the rest. I am on a monthly weigh in now, and put on a couple of lbs after Christmas, so want to ditch those, and lose 5 more...so well done on your downward trend..
