Wow, I am overwhelmed by how caring you people are. Sending you all....:h
Talked to Mr. Stirly a few minutes ago and they're hoping to get the CAT scan done on Wednesday. He's frustrated having to wait so long but there is an up side to this. They've taken him off his high blood pressure medication simply because he doesn't have high blood pressure right now. Not working = not stressed out = lower BP. Now maybe he'll finally decide to retire at the tender young age of 67. He could have done so last year after they put the two stents in after his heart attack but he insisted on staying active in the business. Maybe things will be different this time and he'll decide it's time for a well-deserved rest.
Thanks again to all of you who expressed your kind thoughts and wishes. It really means a lot to me. :groupluv:For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

popping in for a quick hellooooooooooo to the army. just caught up on mr stirly... hope all goes well. its a booooootiful bright cold day here so i really think a big doggy walk is on the cards........ i didnt see the morning so i have to make the most of the afternoon.Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

Tiggers got a hacking cough and complaining of not being able to breathe properly. She's draped over me on the sofa coughing her insides out.... And not happy eitherI have a drink problem, I have been AF since 15 March 2011 and I am working hard to stay that way

Stirly.....good to hear about Mr stirly's BP. I hope, with your sons, you can persuade him to be sensible and take a well earned rest from work. I hope also that you are managing to cope with your situation. PS, I posted to you yesterday as you were leaving...not sure if you saw it.
Jackie....I can look after BB, now all you need is some dosh!
Had been awake for about 35 hours by late last night. Took one nitrazepam and then put chicken stew on for dinner. You can guess the rest. Was lucky enough to wake up a couple of hours later and the stew was still edible. Polished it off and went back to sleep and woke up again this afternoon. Looks like I missed a lovely day. Getting dark outside now, but it's completely cloudless and there is still frost on the ground from last night.
Hope tigger gets better soon purple pingu. Off to catch up on the piglet thread.Comment
