Nope, doesn't sound in the slightest bit arrogant, whizzy. Why shouldn't you feel pleased with yourself for running more than 13 miles in difficult conditions? Well done you! :goodjob: Are you going to give yourself the rest of the day off, or is that not allowed?

Ah thanks--I have just eaten 2 dinners and do not plan on anything else except watch the Midwife programme.
As an ex Community Midwife the series seems so accurate--So far.

Well, I hope you got Mr A to cook your dinners for you, whizzy. Enjoy your program! Busy Internet shopping here. Too much choice and too much decision making to be done, the latter not being my strong point.

          Edit: Hello jackie!

Let me see, now.....jeans, a fleece top, a saute pan, a griddle, ramekins, baking sheets & trays, oven pie dishes, lots of crockery, and countless other items for the kitchen. Thought I would do it all in one go to save on the postage. Don't think my bank manager will be very happy about it though.

Don't think you'll be needing a summer dress any time soon, jackie.....not unless you've got a holiday planned?

Have you been to the Lakeland website for the kitchen stuff and the Go Outdoors for the errrrrrrr outdoor stuff.

Thought I'd get the dress now while I have a bit of Chrimbo money left over.

Yep, a lot of the kitchen stuff is coming from Lakeland, the clothes are coming from Uniqlo. It's not easy to find slimfit jeans with a 28" waist.

                                Good old Mr A!

There are two climbing seasons for Kili, Mrs A, June to October and January to March. Apparently the latter is best. I'm thinking either October or January, but at the moment I'm just concentrating on getting fit. Can't run at present cos of aches and pains in my knees. Are you serious about coming?
