who'd thought chooks could be so entertaining and useful?! On a avian-related side note - I discovered a whole family of kookaburras eating my snails, so really pleased about that discovery and was fun to watch them.

Happy - he went for a couple of people and they were not pleased. He gets stressed having been in a shelter for a long while, but I thought he was calming down. I think the situation can be difficult when lots of dogs are involved. Anyway, c'est la vie...

The village down the road ha these open fireplaces throughout the mall, with seats... Funky.



Took the teddies for a run to-day.






Some of the scenery is knockout. I'll take my bigger camera up the mountaintomorrow and see if I can get some nice pics for you. If you were a geologist, this is where you'd love to work.



High heels . Never got the hang of them... and I'm only 5 foot 3 and a half inches tall. (Which years ago was 2.5 inches too short for me to join th police force... probably a good thing in retrospect.
