    Underoos and Affiliates, February, 2012

Well, Monday is visitors day for FIL.
7:15: the guy who showers him 3 times a week arrives.
Noon: the goodlooking nurse, married 2 small kiddies, wants to take them to Mogo Zoo comes to change the dressings... this takes an hour. They are going to put maggots on the ulcers later this week. Mmmm looking forward to that. Not.
1:30 pm: Podiatrist comes to clip nails. For seventy bucks.

I'd 've done it for thirty.

Undies, please, please, MOVE throughout your lives. Do some exercise. You do not want to end up like my FIL.

I prepare two spoons of muslei for brekky for him. He leaves some. Doesn't eat the 6 blueberries and 2 grapes in the side dish.

Lunch eats about half what I prepare. Less than 10 grams of ham and about a mouthfull of salad.
He's probably only taking in about 300 calories a day, if that.

Well, how about later we walk to the front porch (about 6 metres) and you can have an afternoon coffee outside. ll see how I feel.

So I guess I leave him to do what he wants and not try to organise him.

Won't do his exercises... too tired to lift a 400 gram weght.
    It's so pathetic to watch.

I've made a vow I'm not going to let myself slip into morbid inactivity .

So, these are the flowers I passed on my way to th shops this morning.....
taken with my Samsung phone.. not bad quality eh?

Sorry this is out of focus. Any idea what it is? I'll take another pic of it.

Sounds nasty Zen,and some mouth infections can manifest quite quickly... like some abscesses can swell up to excrutiating pain levels in a matter of an hour or so.
PM me and I'll consult with Dr Rags. and get back to you.

Be careful with mouth iunfections as they can spread fairly easily to your heart and brain. And then you wouldn't know what mensa meant either! I thought it was a prepubescent teenager... :H

Les Darcy a famour Aussie boxer died because of bad oral hygiene...got a mouth infection and it went to his brain. Geez I'm a pleasant little thing to-day aint I.

Love the flower pics Raggsy. Are they natives? Beeewdiful.

Vegemite is great for mouth ulcers me folks used to tell me.

Rags, i found it difficult to track down Kev07 as he's gawn orf in a huff somewhere, however, all is not lost. I do have a collection of amazing ties given to me by the late, great Mr. Al Grassby. White polka dot over british racing green anyone?

                        Nighters all.

There's snacks on the counter and assorted ointments in the bathroom cabinet.

                            Morning,

It's so good to be sober, and to wake up that way. What a game for doodyheads that drinking lark is. There is just no contest, or question, non?

Well, very B&I here. Went to the cricket awards last night as a guest of Lara Bingle. Happy to report she's sparkling and in fine form. Then i had to dash off to the Oscars in L.A. where i'm staying with Nicole and Keith. I tell's ya, me and Keith were having so much fun fitting a new Holley carby to his 57 Chev, that we almost missed 'em. Lucky Nic was onhand to put the foot down, otherwise we'd still be rootin round.

Wishing everyone a safe, sober, and absolutely magical day.

Rags you have got me puzzled with that Lily....stamens emerging below petals as well as ovary...

Undies, I have been off my face on antihistamine for the last 12 hours. Seems it is a wasp sting, not yer march fly at all, and now measures 20cm in diameter.....that's most of the Jones leg!!!! Not enjoying the hangover-esque feeling at all!

Must read back now that vision has cleared.....
