Elk. We chose elk as we thought we’ll never be able to eat it anywhere else as it is American etc....

Mr Rags commented that the Elk was nice.
“Yes,” says waitress, “it’s always consistent taste and quality. It’s farmed”
“Oh?” says Mr Rags.
“Yes, it comes from NEW ZEALAND”.

What's unforbloodygiveable in those pics are the bloody paper doileys. Hello!!!!!!

And IMHO ... the cheese platter is a bit minimalist but I do think (if I squeeze my eyes tightly) I can see some antlers garnishing the Mousse dish. Don't quite understand the Mistral fan underlay on the snails but there ya go ...

On Nutella: The chefs at the restaurants do nutella pizza. I dont eat it. Locust do and love it. Will consult with them - the chefs - on a vegemite job and let you know...

I am not offended. I don't like marmite either or bovril. And many other things. Like tea and coffee.

Rags........love the soup. And the presentation is right up their with my own standards. Is this the place where you posted the menu? It wasn't cheap either.

Half a strawberry is one thing but who serves half a brussel sprout?

Missy - I reckon that what you and Mr B are doing is a bit inspiring and I think its game on...as I said I wont resort to bungying BUT I will make an effort to get more stuff happening with Mr Happs on the couple front...and I mean that in the nicest cleanest possible sense...
