Let me know how the turps in the Nasi goes! I managed to grab a 2 litre bottle without any knowing glances from staff and customers, so I can recommence my painting and scraping. But not now - 39 degrees!! I had to run a number of errands and never managed to cool the car down so just starting to lose my purple glow.
Tawny - For some reason I never seem to "crave" Thai food (usually always enjoy it when I have it) but I go more for Indian, Malay and Chinese (having a vindaloo and chettinand tonight). But as my partner likes to have sommat in his drawer to snack on, I'll look out for them.

Any of you lovely Sandgropers got a pool and love dogs :-)

Coriander is a vet and lives in WA...adores dogs.....and all critters....

I am a YUGE animal/dog lover...but I'm NSW....

Hey Blondie.....I have a dog but no pool. I would love a pool but my youngest is a little accident prone so best not for another few years. Did you have problems with some kennels. I am looking for a place for the cat and dog over the easter holidays. The usual place is asking a small fortune and the care is never really that great anyway.

Night night them to you all over East. Not even teatime here.

I understand with your little one - I guess a pool would be the last thing you'd want right now!! We've got too many tree roots to get a pool, so have to stand in the sprinklers to cool down :-)
The kennels are fantastic (they are mainly JRT breeders) but my relatively recent rescue is a bit anxious and wasn't too happy last time. Not sure quite what happened.

Now it's up to 40 degrees; dinner out is looking good...

sitting in a 'otel room whilst OH bakes in the sun at the cricket. Bought some frilly knickers at Target, the ones that won't give a vpl. Made a cheese sanger forlunch & my complaint about 'otel rooms is that the housekeeping NEVER replenishes the salt. Hmph.
Going to go for a swim shortly....thence out to dins we're thinking Malay. & Japanese tomoz night.

we're staying at the Sebel in east Perth, as the cricket is finishing late we'll prolly just duck downstairs to the Royal Brasserie, was going to go to Vic Park but frickin sporty shit finishing too late.
Perth restaurants just have a dick-wad approach to closing their kitchens don't they? Too early, as a lot of events finish late.
Wandered thru town & back in there tomoz for a haircut.
Hills eh - def that air-con be good up there - air gets sorta trapped doesn't it, making it pretty warm!
