    Underoos and Affiliates, February, 2012

Good stuff, Missy. And don't you also have the Crosby, Stills & Nash concert to look forward to around that time?

My March is looking unusually sociable. a 50th Birthday, an Engagement party, the CSN concert AND two Taswegian visitors for two sleeps. I'll need all of April to recover.

Apart from Raggsy, today I'm also thinking of Stirly in light of what's happening in Athens at the moment. They sure seem to be in an economic mess from what I'm understanding. So sad for such a beautiful country with beautiful people.

OK - back out there. Happiness is a newly-sharpened chainsaw.

I'm all for style du jour....but my du jour has seven seasons in une jour....I start all calm and nice after my 5am yoga then after I've stepped in cat poop, prised chickens from places unimaginable, chased the dog down the street in my jammies and burnt stuff when I wasnt even aware I was cooking - I wake the little slackers with a snarl....even writing "unconditional love" on my hand as a reminder isnt working....

Must consult with Expatty - reckon its a load of French merde to make us feel inadequate...like we need help...

          Afternoon all

I went a little crazy at the gym today and am not stuck to the sofa like a stunned mullet.

My mother would think you ladies are bringing bad luck into your lives by not taking the Christmas tree down on Jan 6......no earlier or later. Why I don't know...........

yes - I was going to have the time from CSN right through to Easter off, but it looks like both our house painting and office move will be in the last week of March. So I am heading off for the wedding and having the week after Easter off instead .... and then taking the couple of days between my birthday and ANZAC day off. So all in all I will work for a total of 8 days in April :H:H And I am also planning a mid-winter break in the Pacific somewhere around August/September.

              xposted happy.

You days sounds like my yesterday. At least you haven't tucked your knickers into your dress and paraded yourself in a busy spot. Although the day isn't over yet.

My mother is incredibly superstitous. She does the magpie thing as well and at first she was driven demented everytime she came to Australia and was forever doing this thing with her fingers to break the bad luck. She eventually came to the conclusion that australian magpies don't count.....way too many of them.

Edited to add that 1 magpie means bad luck and 2 magpies together is supposed to be goodluck.

Monkey, you do make me laugh. Don't feel bad at all about your lack of moppage. You'll probably never beat my last best procrastination. I took my Christmas tree down last year in JUNE. But wait, you'll really love how. It's a pre-lit mid size jobbie that comes apart midway up the "trunk". I left all decorations on, covered it with a sheet and hauled it downstairs into a closet. There it sits as I didn't bother with it this Christmas. Probably sounds pretty pathetic now that I've written it out. Oh well, life is better than fiction, eh??

Good work on 7 days Jo!
I think that is very efficient... save you heaps of time come next Christmas :H

This last Christmas we got the boxes of decorations out and put them on the loungeroom floor . And thats as far as we got. Never took out any decorations. I put the boxes away just before we flew out last week!

I am finally kicking some goals here Saff. Quit the cancer sticks at last on December 30, 2011 and chucked the wine with them too! No promises on the wine being forever but the smokes are history. Thanks for asking. xo
                          That's terrific....
