    Underoos and Affiliates, February, 2012

Went to the bowling alley across the road for lunch......

    check out the salads......

The burger wasactually very tasty.... the last of Mr and Mrs Rags' fat food.
Both burger and Tommy polish dog came with a packet f crisps, which we gave back to the waitress.

And the decor is so, so, I'm speechless.

We went to the local NPWS and this sign greets you at the door......

And here's where we're going for din din as soon as I post this.

And Mr Rags wll no longer need to avail himself of this... though at 3 days with no ciggies he's getting a little tetchy. AND nicoette patches are ridiculously expensive here.

A Raggsy Roaming culinary review will follow later tonight.
AndMissy I guess I'll just have to havea Schats sandwich tomorrow....on sheepherder bread naturally!

A very, very ordinary dinner...... done much better myself.

So afterwards we walked up to Schats to see if they open for brekky. We’ll get a bagel for brekky there tomorrow. Has to be better than the motel food.
And perhaps a sheepherder sandwich for ron at LA.

This is looking south down the main street at 8:30. Schats is the second brightly lit building.

This is looking north at 8:31 That's our motel on the left inthe foreground

We’ll probably scoff another hamburger at the bowlo tomorrow before we leave.

Loving your pictures Ragsy. Food seems so cheap there. In Ireland you get some crisps on the side with a sandwich, not a whole bag though.

Trying to accept the inevitable here, day sleeps are over for the youngest. And there goes my sneaky naps too.

                    Afternoon Undies
Ragsy, now that Mr Rags is feeling better, I don't know whether to laugh or cry for you in that town! Have you actually photographed anyone else in town? Is it some kind of Steven King novel you've found yourselves in?!! Still, I guess health is the main thing. Despite you saying the food was mediocre, I now have a craving for tempura but I am uselessdeep frying anything - fish, chips, etc.
Ella - when my dogs go back to sleep after brekkie, I sometimes get a little nap then too. Old age is grand (me, not you!)
Tawny - your lasagne looked yum-tastic. Hopefully once our kitchen is complete, I can whip up something more than spicy noodles!

                      Cool pix Raggsey.

So, Undies, I need to know ... does anybody on this thread celebrate or acknowledge Valentine's Day? And if so, what did you do?

Prolly no surprise to anyone if I tell you I've never played.

Mmmm...on our very first V day Mr Happs bought me a plastic rose....I said - I was 20 at the time - if thats as good as it gets dont bother....he hasn't....mutually disenfranchised from the crappage...

However today he has excelled himself and the prototype fly screen for the push out windows is in place....little rough but for overall cost of $20 per window it beats the $400 quotes....I heart him heaps....he might even get lucky tonight...thats if he can get past the aeroguard and calamine lotion...

Ooops...and the best part? Because part of the screen is fixed, the windows can only be cleaned properly from the outside, on a ladder and I get vertigo...so he's volunteered to do it...if thats not true love, I dont know what is...
