Thankyou Reg. I appreciate your words. (as always)

Honesty. We must be honest with ourselves. It's hard to be honest though, when we won't lift the veil of lies, deceipt, and destruction. It is sure a cunning and baffling addiction we face, but it can be overcome, and we can come out the other side happy and free. I have been there, and i've seen it. The psychological game is where it's at. This is the key. For me, it's simply about choice. What do i want, and which way do i want to go? It's a huge world out there, with treasure we cannot access with the bloody boozing blinkers on. As we well know.

Back from a read around - Reg, the only way I can read invisible polite speak it to quote it and that way I can see.

Hemmed our curtains - only have our bedroom ones up yet - with magic hemming tape, that turns out to be not so magic as the cats have jumped into the hems and pulled them down....I either need bigger tape or a trip up the road to the little man with the ironing/sewing shop....

Cheeses Undies, wake up...I'm back to my "post and post" til someone comes out to play...

Question: is it bad news to put coloured ink in the compost? Junk mail or magazines? or should it just be cardboard and newspaper? seems to be differing answers on Mrs Google but is Oz ink different? and if I dont use it in the compost can I use it as layers in the very very bottom of the vege or flower beds??

Hi folks. Affiliate Techie here. I'm planning on a flight back to Arizona on Wednesday. I'm doing well just some pain issues. The down side is that I need to come back to New York in two weeks for follow up and then will my doctor will transfer care to Arizona Bone & Joint in Scottsdale.

I was VERY relieved to see Mr. Rags doing better. I have fallen victim to altitude a few times, Once so bad I didn't think I would ski again. However, I have found that if you can spend a few day at a moderate altitude before skiing and staying above 5,000 to 6,000 feet it really helps get you acclimated.

Thinking of you all. I do NOT look forward to the flight home but I took the hit and booked a first class flight seat 1A. I pity the person in 1B. Someone from some nursing staff is coming to my home on Thursday to take the staples out. I wish it was Jones. Will make an effort to read back and see what everyone has been up to. Gosh, I could eat just about anything other than the food they serve here.

I hope Reggie's mom is OK. Looking forward to getting back in the daily posting flow. I think of you all daily. Love Techie xoxo

                  Good morning Happy and Techie!

I had a wee sleep in as well Happy. It was much needed. Now I'm in at work - partly because I missed a day during the week while I was crook and partly to keep Mr B company while he updates our server.

Techie - you sound like you have really been through the mill. Constant pain can really get you down. I had a teleconference yesterday with someone who has recently had a back injury, and I was struck by how he had gone from being a real joy germ to being very terse and grumpy. It made me think of that quote - don't know whether I've remembered it correctly - "don't judge a person until you have walked a mile in their shoes".

Now I know that you are all waiting with baited breath to hear the latest on our incredibly sexist and rude real estate agent. :H:H Basically he has been taken off the case after our complaint about him, and now negotiations are proceeding directly with the building owner (who is great). Between Mr B and my business partner, we now have an agreement for a new fit-out to our specifications, us paying 6 months rent in advance and moving in late March. It will be all a bit stressful as our house will be being painted at the same time ...... and then I fly off to Sydney. I'm pretty much going to have all April not working, which I really need. But I might be a bit stressed and grumpy for the next 6 weeks. Hope you can all put up with me!

There is a very funny you-tube clip on "laughing out loud" that had me falling off my chair. If you are in need of a laugh check it out :H:H

Hope all is well with everyone this morning.

Now Rags. Don't you go a stressin'. You're a bloody star you know, organising this and that and dealing with beurocrats everywhere. I demand that you take some time out for YOU, and do it now. Do summit you like to do, and do it. Of course, you are somewhat otherwise occupied with Mr. R, but along with wishing him a speedy recovery, i wish for you bliss and happiness, and some dare devellin' whatever that might mean to you. ;-)

                    Mr G.,
I think I will do exactly what you suggest, because next week I am looking after Mr Rags' dad for a week while his sister (who lives with his dad ) has a bit of time out. OH JOY.
(This was all pre-arranged before we went away).
Mr Rags hasn't told any of his family yet. Dunno if he's going to or not. His call I guess.
Doesn't want to stress out his dad.

                      Hey there Techie.

Mr RAgs LOVED the hospital food. Said it was beter than anything we'd eaten since he got to Mammoth! That's how we discovered Mrs Dash.

You mean Nurse Jones ISN'T taking out the staples??

We were at that altitude for just on a week Techie, but what it did was act like a stress test on Mr Rags. And we didn't ski till day 3 so we could acclimatise.... So I guess we keep to 6,00 feet in future.

I sneaked a look at your invisible writing...

                          There's a reason Ms Tawny doesn't wear a bra.
She mentioned a couple weks ago she's 78 or thereabouts.
