Morning Undies...found a box of old photos and have been sitting in bed with tea and a little locust loving photos of himself, nothing like creating a major ego is there? Eggs for brekky straight from the chooks bum and dont they hold their shape well when you poach 'em? Lunch at a mates today for her birthday and just dodged a bullet by not having to go to school chapel....want to keep my record of educating 3 children in a religious school and not attending church...

      Morning all,
Breakfast is a banana and chocolates, with fresh made juice to follow.

Awwh, Happy, on the same page. I did the same during my nocturnal insomnia last night. After my eternal lifespan, I've taken and stored SO many photos! I was the family photographer, beginning in the dark ages with Polaroids and Instamatics! But so glad since I have these wonderful pics, plus all my rellies knew I loved old pics and brought them to me. Ergo, I ended up with 100+ year old photos everyone else covets now. (NO, I'm not in them! :H) But I did sort huge piles to give my son and daughter, from theirs and their babies lives. I was a photo nut, when I could afford it. Now, it's all online. Well, saves on albums.

Congratulations on your AF time Ella. Sorry to hear about your setbacks. Could there be any positives come out of them in any way? Everything okay?

G'day Rubes. Always great to hear from you. Your family are very lucky to have you documenting and preserving your history like that. Hope you're well and your making music on yer mandolin.

P.S. At yesty's gig, a hard living biker mate (not to stereotype motorcyclists) greeted me at the bar. He was obviously hungover, and grumbled to the bartender...'Coffee'! I ordered ginger beer (kirks, no bundy)
and i noticed a bit later he was on the ginger beer too, rather than yer hair of the dog to stabilise himself, which can provide temp relief, but of course goes on to continue the painful, dreary, boring cycle. I was quietly elated on noticing this, as i reckon i may've had a small influence on his decision. He knows my drinking history. Leading by example, (which i don't profess to always do) can have a powerful impact on those around us. A noice little moment i thought i'd share. :welcome:

                  Morning Mumma2,

I do the rare solo gig, but today i'm with a trio, and yesty was just 2 of us as a one off with a mate. I'm in about 4 bands, but not playing live as often as i'd like, but i'm relishing this weekends sat and sunday gigs. Hope the housework is over quickly and painlessly!

(speaking of chicks, i've invited the neighbour. She's hot, hot i tell's ya, in a sort of understated way. Not sure if she's single, and will prob find out today when she says hi, and then introduces the boyfriend. :upset: :H)

What's for breaky? Give me some ideas. I hate cereal.
In a large brekky bowl I put some Vogels soy and linseed bran, some Carmens muslei (which I bought to try out),some Uncle toby's rolled oats, some vanilla no fat yoghurt, then topped it with some black and some white grapes cut in 1/2, some blackcurrants and finely chopped pear.
But I guess it's too late for brekky now. And I guess it'll be a real special now for us to have goggy eggs for brekky... or curried egg and lettuce sandwiches. Have made mental note to take a tin of Keens whenever we go o/s in future....

Am getting mightily peed off with house guest. Feel like saying you are not the centre of the universe, I'm looking after Mr Rags, and I really am tired of your attention seeking antics. But that would not be good manners.

This morning I suggested to Mr Rags we have a pick nick at Austi Beach but we got to do it like or parents did, he said good idea, HG said OK , so Mr rags and I put on outrageous shirts with a tropical theme, I made yummo sandwiches, Mr Rags got the little stove coffee etc and pick nick baskety thing when suddenly HG enters stage left (well, kitchen door which was on my left) in tears, announcing is in a lot of discomfort and everything is just too much, and do I have an electric blanket (no), do I have a hot water bottle (no). But I have wheat bags. Take microwaved wheat bags to bedroom to find HG who has intractable (sp) back pain sitting in up happily in the most uncomfortable position, reading, tears and pain gone.... but GETTING ATTENTION.

I'm rooly rooly tired too...... again only 3-4 hours sleep. I fergot to take sleepy sleepy pill last night.

Reckon Raggsy's still all over the shop sleep-wise to be posting at 6am.
Let me know how lamb goes... is it braise? I HATE braise. My mother used to do it.

I am getting quite thingy about not getting much sleep. I forgot to take sleepy pill last night. Will not forget tonight. I think it must just be anxiety.

Yikes, Raggsy - who is this interloper? And what are they doing at your place? Maybe I missed something but surely this is a time for you and Mr. Rags to regroup and recoup after your OS adventure - like on your own?

Hey MumofTwo - I've had an idea ... may we call you MoJo?

She's a fairly pushy person who craves attention and if she does the slightest thing for you it is as if she has personally put herself out at great expense and has researched, organised and fixed everything for you and aren't you lucky I'm your friend to do tjhis for you. eg I emailed her to confirm with shuttle company that we'd get picked up Mascot after I'd already emailed the company. Boy, it was as if she'd undertaken a major logistics exercise.. " I got it all sorted out for you. I had to give them all your details and address... etc etc"
"Odd" I said, they ve picked us up from the house 4 times in the last 6 months... I think they know where we live.. In the end I let it drop.

When she goes back home she will tell everyone how she took over and looked after the both of us..... and expect accolades.

Yes she is brazen enough not to realise we need this time for us.

But she has needs too!!!! And so few friends that Mr rags and I are those friends...
Ahh, got that off my chest .
But I'm pissed off. I might just tell Mr Rags I'm gouing to have a pick nick anyway!!!!!

                                Ahhhh ... I get it. The professional, long-suffering do-gooder.

Take a big breath, regain your composure and visualise all the Undies sitting on a fence yelling these immortal words in her general direction:
