Thanks Wally - I liked it too because it reminded me of when I first studied painting. We were taught about colour and tone and to understand tone it was suggested we half close our eyes. If I half close my eyes with this pic, the spider totally disappears and just becomes a perfect, tonally camouflaged, inhabitant of a perfect natural space.
I'll shut up now.

HI kids,
Techie, hope your infection goes away soon. It doesn't sound to pleasant.
Long day one down, two three and four to come.
I'm hoping hubs makes dinner, cause I don't feel like it.
I started reading the first book in a series, and then I get sucked in. I had to download all 18 of them, and am now finished with 2. I do love a good story!

What ya say Mr G... time to start a MWO band?!
Thanks for the link. Bird has a great groove, and great musicality to be sure. As long as she is cool with the anonymity factor, which i'm sure has been sorted. Have voted.
Having such a gift can be a really powerful tool in staying off the turps. (MWO band? i'm in if Spud's on bass, Jones on tambourine, and the Frog on treated percussion)
Ah Missy. A fresh pre-dawn swim in the bay will fix those blues! Get crackin'!
Pretty dark here too, and grey sky's. But, we all know whats just above em.........
Wishing everyone a marvellous day. :h

Morning All,
Raining here all week but I don't mind, kind of like it.
Work is a downer at the moment. I received a written warning accusing me of not working my 40 hours, but paying myself for the hours. The only specific example used was a day I left one hour early because I had put in several hours of overtime for the week already beyond my 40 hours. The warning was harsh and accusatory. My husband had surgery a few days later and I spent hours of my week off helping my store, trying to fix all the problems that occurred at the store without logging in any of them to get paid. I never work less than 40 hours, I do schedules, emails, and orders from home. I switch my shifts to cover for anyone that has something come up or is sick, and often work overtime which I do not receive pay for. I do it as part of my job. Anyways, my husband wanted me to send back his draft response, but I sent a much more quiet one, as I told him I only want to make it to maternity leave, and I do not plan to go back to a company I have worked for several years now, that didn't even ask me about that particular day. Anyways, feel like I now have to work 45 hours a week, as I was told managers in Sydney are working 12 hour days 5 days a week. Obviously I can't do that as I am 6.5 months pregnant. All of my hours in store are worked on my feet and as I get more pregnant some things are more difficult. Anyways, just needed to vent.
another 10 hour day I must attend to.
See yas tonight.
Love the spider Tawn.

I am going to FWA next month to speak for a collegue accused of exactly the same thing (and more) because he didn't log all his hours, worked up to 80 hours per week, from home etc. I used to regularly get emails from him at 10pm on Sunday (work emails!!!!!).
So log all of your hours including work from home, phone calls taken at home etc. Let them work out the pay implications, but at least it's documented.
What a shame they hadn't managed it a different way and had a nice informal fact finding meeting with you, after which they would no doubt have concluded that you are a hard working team player.
With any luck your replacement will be an entitled 19 year old with an ipod permanently attached to their lug holes who will give them hell.:HIf your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Beware, they might just be looking for an excuse to sack you so they don't have to fork out mat. leave.
Why not put in writing but in a bit more detail what you've just written in this post and present to the next level of bosses . If I were you, I really would be noting down everything you've done, with times and dates to back yourself up, just in case you need it. Are you able to name who you work for so I can boycott it? (I probably don't go to it anyway). A number of chain store shopkeepers I've chatted to in the last few months are exhausted, overworked and live in almost constant fear of being put off.
