Bridge, Don't EVER think about buying ILVE... We bought a bloody expensive cooktop, which I thought I'd checked out thoroughly in the shop.... but it was designed by a MALE who never cooked, and never cleaned. I'll take a piccy of it so you can see for yourself. It's a bugger... if I really want to thoproughly clean it we have to take the bloody thing apart.

Now I know I haven't cleaned it since I cooked last nights dinner and spilt it, but who, who in their right mind makes a cooktop which isn't a single piece of pressed metal? And who. who was stupid enough not to notice... Mind you the huge trivets hid the screws . But wasn't I a silly billy not to lift the trivet in the shop. Now you all know I don't clean up immediately I finish cooking. In fact poor Mr Rags will be left to do that.


YE GODS! Has my life become so futile I now find myself posting pictures and discussing the features of a bloody cooktop !! Thats a bit sad Raggsy.

hello zenny, tips, tawns, ragsy.....
thank ferk for a cooler day in the grand state of Wait Awhile....I could actually clean the magpie shit off the patio bricks. Rags, if you're sad for discussing ovens & such then I am equally so for discussing bird shit & patio bricks. Such is the sad reality of our trivial lives!!!

Now I gotta ask you zenny ( as a chef) - homemade baked beans? recommendations?

Hi Undies and Internationalists, happy dance all round...Mr Happs has Barmah Forest Fever...not Ross River, a distant relation and will get better with rest in a shorter time than Ross....can I just say what a FUCKING relief....even though I look fetching in black I was a tad concerned...

Corrie I did have a recipe for baked beans but I must away to drive my girlfriends on the proverbial piss wagon - them not me! Hope Zenny is of more use.
