I'd ordered this box of mixed fruit & veg from a local supplier - costs $37 for a 10kg box of carrots, royal blue spuds, a cauli, brocc, half cabbage, a dozen nectarines,2 doz plums, pears, & a shit load of apples! What a bargain!!! So I've fired up the ol' sunbeam juicer & enjoying an apple, pear & carrot juice of the mornings, will make up some hearty veg soup, & this stuff called fruit cream which is where you blend up an apple, some oranges & almonds & cashews & it becomes like icecream - how cool is that.

Next culinary query : best usage of Royal blue spuds. trivial I know but it's the little things that please me......now that could be taken a diff way couldn't it???!!!

Back from girls night out and no wonder I dont drink...have decided that self respect and speaking clearly are higher on my priority list than even one glass of vino, however gorgeous...

Hi Undies. I'm home. The flight was OK some rough air but otherwise smooth for the most part. I had to leave my car in the long term parking lot at Sky Harbor airport. Will try and pick up on Sunday. It was so good to sleep in my own bed. Those hospital mattresses are like lying on ream of paper. I'm going to have my med records transferred to Arizona Bone & Joint rather then travel back to NY in two weeks. They can consult with my NY doc.

The past year has been difficult for me, as well as others. I've made a decision to cut back big time on the running. I'll continue to workout in the pool and bike ride which I love. After my follow-up appointment I may spend a few days in Sedona on R&R. I always wanted to stay at the Enchantment resort, so I'm going to do it. I will take pics while there. To me, Sedona is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Keep in mind you need to enjoy rocks....lots and lots of rocks LOL.

Well, it seems Mr. R is doing much better. Prayers answered. While I peruse the site and view all I've missed, I wish you all nothing but the best.

Currently in Canberra by request of of our Governer general Quentin Bryce. Brycey's asked me to be around to help mop up the emotional fallout that's bound to occur next week with the leadership challenge, etc. Restaraunt's not as good as Melbournes, but the carvery in the parliament house green room is tops.

38c today! Average summer here really, but what a grand day lay ahead, non?
