Morning all! I am bright eyes and bushy tailed after a good nights sleep - sorry Rubes.... you need to try to let the past go - I know it was awful for you but you are letting it carry on affect you. You are giving them way too much power over you. I DO know what working for the P.O. is like - Hubs works there and hates it as much as you did. But dwelling on it and constantly thinking about it is still affecting your health. try and let it go - meditate before bed and when the P.O. comes into your head, gently push it away..... For your OWN peace of mind, you MUST let the past go. You can't change it - none of us can - we can just go foward. Love and hugs to you my friend :l:h

Well, Hubs and I fell asleep last night on the sofa watching a thrilling movie - LOL. I am off today and am going to see if I can find some motorcycle gear. I really need some proper clothing for when the weather is just not quite right! But warm enough to ride.

Bird - sorry your drum thing was so frustrating - I could not do it, with the kids - you are a better soul than I ! Hope you have a good day today. My mucky drink is called so because I have had it since the year dot (be quiet Rubes) and used to have all manner of stuff - like brewers yeast - in it - these days I have a banana, some fruit juice, a drop of milk and the All-One but the name sticks 'cos that what I have always called it. "smoothie" wasn't known when I was little - ROTFLMBO Gosh - fodder for Ruby !!

Anyway - hope Jan and Fen get their toothbrushes, weaves/dead rats sorted out and get the right things sent in the right boxes!!

Hey fokkers. Tony, I actually spent time trying to figure out what kind of bird that was. :H:H
Yes, I've let go of the PO, but it doesn't let got go of my sleep. I truly hated each moment of it, but still made great friends. Unfortunately, most have died, at their own hands or others. That's the kind of place it was, and I was lucky to escape.
As far as the toothbrush, they are always at hand. But we shall dispense with that subject. Now for the HAT!
Have had numerous tearful calls from cousin's daughter today (the ones I bought property from) about their current state. She needs to get out, he has no clue where to go. Told them to come eat brunch with me tomorrow, get out out of the environment, and gives me time to think. I KNOW I can't solve his problem, but his 21-y/o daughter doesn't need to be saddled with him. And I can't save them. I told her she's bright, beautiful, and has to find her own way out of this. But he is a different story. I DO feel an obligation to my aunt to help them. Daughter and SIL love her, so have texted her about some of the situation, and will talk to son and Hubs, but buying the remaining land won't resolve his problem.
Feel like breaking down in tears. Daughter just texted she is taking in the daughter, has talked to her, and now cousin is left in the wind. So I'm left to deal with him. Talked to son and Hubs, but no real answers yet.
