Doing ok here. Going to have to start exercising. I'm just so stiff & sore. I think getting moving will help. That's my goal for the weekend.

Hubby is leaving on Thursday to go up North to his Dads for a week. I really wish that he wasn't going but his sister is going out of town so hubby should go up to keep an eye on his Dad. His Dad lives alone but his sister checks on him several times a week. Oh well - long story and don't want to get into it here.

ATL - how's the sleeping? Zumba huh? Wow - I'm not ready for that. My goal is to just get out & walk and ride my exercise bike. I'll work up to Zumba. :H

Bird - glad you went out & got yourself some stuff. Good for you.

Jan - How's your back today? Did you have a wonderful day off? :h

Rubes-- I believe in treating folks as i want to be treated so I don't mind the spoiling. And yesterday he walked in with some perfume for me for no reason-- he had seen and heard me exclaiming over the new Chloe when I was reading a mag with a sample and went and found it. He does have too much hockey though!
Can't do Zumba like I wanted. Tonight we were going to let Luje use our fancy tub and while filling it the water turned brownish!! (and the dang jacuzzi did not work which is yet another expense ) so the plumber is coming out-- I think it is the water heater which is on it's last legs. Truthfully I am tired so it is just as well. No good sleep and Bird-- I hear you-- I ate everything in sight today-- chips, cookies etc so back on it tomorrow.

Gosh that was nice about the perfume ATL. ...it was nice not to have to get up at 5 this morn..thought it was Sunday and took antabuse which I usually take on Sunday. Well kid has honors band concert at 4 and another kid spending the night. Gonna do laundry and go to the gym. Have heaters on and yest had ac on. Really just want to go down to the beach but cant this weekend cuz of band and cant next cuz of tech fair practice and cant next next cuz of tech fair up Macon or somewhere. Might turn that into a mini vacation somehow....Sun where art thou?

Georgie, hope you are okay....ATL - that was nice of hubs to surprise you like that - how sweet! What a pain about the water turning brown - ugh! Hope it isn't anything too bad!

Hi Bird - yes, I did a clopen but it was yesterday - then today I am off - going to meet M-I-L for breakfast this morning. Nice that you are looking for me - I am fine though. Came home from work yesterday, and sat on the couch to read - woke up two hours later! Then carried on reading. Anyway I have 2 days off now and am looking forward to them VERY much! Got a list of things to do a mile long. House is the pits so that is on my list somewhere. Fun stuff is top of the list!

We are getting our taxes done on Monday -fingers crossed. With my trip to UK coming up, some extra cash would be nice. Of course there are also a zillion other things that we need to spend a refund (if we get one) on!

Ruby - so sorry to hear about hubs co-worker - my prayers are flying over there - I so feel for him and his family. Such hard stuff to go through.

Bird - you say you have your heaters on - yes, it is darned cold here this morning - two days ago it was 60 something. Crazy weather. We had snow flurries yesterday. Anyway as usual your day sounds really busy! Your children are so lucky that you do all this stuff with them! Have a great day :l

Bummer. What day is this? Hubs woke me WAY before I'm used to, has been 'nudging' me constantly to get dressed and go with him (yes, he's off) to visit even MORE car dealers. God help me, I don't CARE! He's been scanning the net since about 5 AM for possibles with an hour radius, so I'll take a blanket and sleep. Sorry I can't get into this, but I'm a see what you really want and need, and get it kind of shopper. Last car I bought was in early 2000, when we were looking at motorcycles and I spotted it on a dealers lot. It's also 30 degrees cooler now than 24 hours ago, so like you said, ATL, that barometer sort of rules our body, doesn't it?
ATL, pay no attention to me and my opinions. You know your life, your husband, and put some trust into yourself that you deserve the wonderful little treats that an obviously loving man brings home sometimes. I hadn't heard of the new Chloe, will check that out. I'm still stuck on Angel right now, or Anais Anais.
Well, must drag myself up and put on something suitable for battle and walking. Sun, so glad you saw the 'Ass' signal in the sky, and Nora, glad I made you laugh. Bird, stay busy, happy, careful on your busy weekend.
Ya'll pray my marriage survives the car lots. I used to just drive what was in the drive with keys, but no more. When my kids were little I joked that I never left them in the car b/c I was afraid he'd trade my ride while they were in it. I was driving a straight-shift '67 Corvette with a German shephard in the passenger seat when it quit on me on the court square, once, but he always came and rescued me/us, so funny memories..

HATED the car we drove an hour and a half to see. WTF is the use of a pullout tray in the cargo area but to catch more dirt? Sales guy had braces.
Back in our town and a 12 yr old is waiting on which doesn't seem fair to him negotiating with him on price. But if we buy I hope it's from him BC he's new here. (told me 2 is as good as 4WD) and Hubs and I laughed). So if they want a sale they'll talk. I'm in the car. My work is done. Hope I never have to do this again.

I HATE buying a car! I love my car. I am quite happy keeping mine until it dies. I hope it just keeps going and going......

Enjoyed breakfast with M-I-L - she is such a lovely person. Then had a couple of other places to go to and came home. Am going to clean my house - yuck, but it does need doing. Am feeling pretty good today and am going to get started on it without sitting down or eating - it seems that eating puts me to sleep! LOL Have got a couple of phone calls out of the way that have been nagging at me which feels good and now hubs has left for work will get moving.

JAN! I am not totally stupid (had to laugh - I spelled stupid wrong three times and had to retype it !!) - I know what a Mr Sunbeam is - he is a heating pad - right???? See - so, not EVERYTHING has to be explained to me - DUH !!!!

I am going to get going on my cleaning and will be back. Oh - I love my Tea rose perfume - have always used it and although I have very rarely tried a different one, always come back to my tea Rose - it is very me and I LOVE IT!

Hi Jan - yes, I have been tidying and dusting and am now about to hoover. The downstairs bathroom is cleaned, everywhere is tidy and dusted - the washing machine is working overtime (lots of ironing later) so the only thing left to do is to hoover. Then I need to start going through pics of last October when I went to UK. I am making a little book of it for each brother, one for my sister and one for my mum (and one for me). I finally managed to get what I was looking for in the way of the right little photo album today and bought five of them - they were on clearance - yeah! Now I have to decide which pics to put in!! then work out how to do it - take them to CVS or walgreens and get some help I think!! I want to take then with me when I go to UK in March for my mum and my sibs.

Off to hoover - don't worry Jan - I understand that you have to eat dead cow sometimes. Doesn't bother me!! LOL

Awwwh, Sunny, you've done so much and I've not lifted a finger here. AFTER we decided on a car (it has to come from North Carolina), did all the crap stuff needed, we went to eat (yummy) then Hubs wanted to go shopping, again. We finally got home and I walked in and collapsed on the couch. Trying to appear to move now.
So happy about your deal on the albums, and what a lovely idea for the pictures. They will hold special memories for everyone.
OK, back to the couch. I think my day is shot.
