    Oh Jan - I am sorry - how miserable for you. Earache is like toothache - you can't do much for it and it is a miserable pain! Hope the antibiotics kick in really fast for you. Eldest daughter and the grands just left - house is wonderfully quiet!! going to get a cup of milky coffee and start getting ready for bed. Early shift tomorrow.... Hi Bird - hope the gig went well.

      Im home.....it was crazy. One of them looked like Goober off of Andy Griffith, There were 4 guitars all playing at once and a mandolin, bass, piano and me..They had baked cakes that they sold raffle tickets for and thats how they make their money. They had 2 cakes and a tshirt for the raffle. We played about 2 1/2 hours. They had "supper" which was pizza rolls and potato chips and lots and lots of sweets...hahaha I wish I had taken a pic. I only came home with 17 bucks and they want me to come back next week....well I might it is only 2 miles away and it keeps me outa trouble...Goodnight Sun and feel better MB..I am off to bed

        Hi there - haven't had a chance to read back except saw that Mama has ear infections. My ears are hurting so bad that I think I'm going to find an urgent care tomorrow. I was feeling so much better until midway thru the first flight. My ears started hurting so bad then. Landed at the layover and it seemed like they were ok but after the 2nd flight - oh man. Sounds like I'm copying MB.

        I'll try to catch up with everyone tomorrow. My parents aren't aware of my 'problem' so I have to be careful with this site.

            Hi all,

            MB, sorry to hear about your ears. I recently went to another ENT for my hearing loss and I have a condition called Otosclerosis, it is when you develop calcification on the bone that vibrates in your inner ear, it requires surgery as it is progressive. Great... I know... I am dealing with heart issues, thyroid issues, ear issues and peri-meno issues. Ughhhh it sucks getting older. Sorry to go on about me but I am having a pity party tonight. The prayers I recently requested but did not mention specifically to you all, was for a job for my husband, because our business is suffering... Well he did NOT get it.... Sigh.... Keep us in your prayers. Goodnight :hG

                Good Morning everyone - G, I am so sorry your hubs didn't get the job - sending prayers your way that he gets one soon. Also hope that your health improves! Nora - flying with ear problems - YUCK. Hope it clears up for you. have a wonderful time with your folks - how long are you there? Jan - are you feeling better today? The meds should be kicking in - so I hope you are......

                We woke up to snow this morning. Dear old Ben was making his snow dogs - he LOVES the snow. It isn't a lot but is bitterly cold with it. I feel for anyone or thing that has to be outside today...

                  Sorry about all the ear problems...Georgie, hugs to you and will keep you in my thoughts....Sun, I really miss the snow. It rarely snows here...Nora have fun at folks..yes I remember goobers hat and that is why the guy looked like him, hahahah....windy and a cold front moving in. Must do laundry. Eating buffallo chili and it is not very good. Had made the chile veggie but had some buffallo burger and thought I'd try it in the chili so cooked it up and dumped it in there. Oh well, will just eat it and not do it again. Slept till 8. Very late for me....loving the weather.

                          georgie I am right there with you as far as hubs and employment and all you can do is love him, and tell him that ALOT
                          ears still sore, but I am managing....
                          Nora you better get your looked at cause flying makes it worse....

                            G I'm so sorry. It's very hard on men since they identify the loss with their value. A few years ago Hubs had a boss with an agenda to get rid of all over 50 white men, and he caused Hubs only mark on a 35 ur record. Hubs ended up on antidepressants. That boss is gone and Hubs just called to tell me he got a VERY big promotion today. The job market IS getting better but still tough. Just keep supporting him. :hug:

                              Good luck G.....remember in an old biblical story.....The Jewish king wanted a gift, that made him hopeful when he was discouraged and humbled him when he was over confident.
