OK, since Clay's not reading this, here's the story. It's well known Jones Hollow is a treacherous road. But Jan wasn't gone a minute when she comes back and tells Sun and me they're stuck. Clay's driving. He's 16. AND male. Get it?? :H So I get my chain, my old Toy, drive up past them to pull them out. It wet, muddy, so I found stuff in the back to put under the (nearly buried) front end on the (ditch) side of the road to get under and look for a good place to hook on and pull them. Hmmm, I got down there!! Couldn't find anything, so eventually MB and son went on in my car grocery shopping, and we call a wrecker. Now Sun decides to walk back up and meet him to save me the weather exposure. We've got an English transplant and a Bluegum Redneck, communicating. In the meantime, my neighbor, Busy Bob, hears all the commotion and comes down. (I realize I'm being redundant, but I'm OLD!) So after they're all gone so long, I leave the fireplace and find ALL parties still moving the car. Wrecker guy says NO one will come up that road in the next few days, so after MB's car is pulled out (and she kisses the stunned man) Sun decides to take her car out while the wrecker's there. Poor Clay watches as she flawlessly drives straight up the road. Then we bring my Toy back and have no more trouble. Though it may have chafed his ability, he IS only 16, and not wilderness born. We had no more problems; in fact, he wants my Toy if I sell it (which I won't). Though it was costly, it was an experience we could all laugh about, lessons were learned, and and we all have funny memories. Junior also learned this old lady can handle herself out there! :H Loved it, girls. And MB, Claybo certainly will be more careful in the future about what I tell him about driving there, possum hat and all! Really, you had to be there. Visits from you guys seem fraught with craziness (T got eaten by ants, RC sunbathed while I was wrapped in shawls, Vick locked our keys in the car, etc......... It all leads to memories that are so funny in retrospect, and when you're on different turf it comes out that way. Also, I'm 99% sure I'd make much worse errors in your areas. Though I'm still worried Sun and Busy Bob made have made a 'connection', and I'm not sure about MB and the wrecker driver. RC and a waiter at a restaurant were also a question!! These things are what memories are made of. Oh, and Sun, MB, my road is fine, no problems at all navigating it now.

Diet coke with lime. YES! I admit that addiction too.
Having a harder time than Hubs, since we can't share his promotion till after tomorrow. I just want to brag about him, since he never would. And I'm having a post-trip day, just chilling. He had the house all cleaned when I got home, so nothing to do but rest today. I brought him some Helen Rocky Road fudge and a Strawberry Heart Cheesecake yesterday for Valentine's day, may take a nap in a minute to recovered from walking to the computer today. :H Tomorrow it's back to the grind, though, so don't any of you think I'm spoiled. PLUS, I got a crazy call at 2 AM. I just went back to sleep, but he is always compelled to track them down. Even when I tell him it was one of my shunned former boyfriends, he keeps looking!! (Anyone who knows me NOTHING could excite me enough to be up at 2 AM, unless it's one of my kids.)

?? I just typed out a post and it has disappeared... (?) Anyhoo - in it I asked for help in finding the Toolbox that is posted somewhere on this website for newbies. Specifically I need info on side effects from quitting - particularly fatigue. I continue to wake up tired after sleeping for a good 8 hours! I am tired all day, and want to go to bed at about 8:00. I am thinking iron or vit B deficiency, but wondered if there was some info in the Toolbox. I have a dr appointment this week complete with blood work but thought I could read up ahead of time. thanks!

Coco the nut..
I had bloodwork done a few months back and it was discovered I was anemic.....very common for us middle-aged, close the death women!
B12 levels were very low and Iron was no where to be found.
I was given b12 shots to give myself (eeewww) weekly and iron tablets...* weeks later and I don't feel alot better...
you should defo have things checked....
I think I read that one of ladies wanted to sleep 24/7 after she quit....
i feel that way too, but when I lie down, I can't turn my brain off....
