Me again. Have a beautiful casserole in the oven, a Greek dish. Believe it would be good even without meat products. Ham, chicken, feta, potatoes, Rosemary from my garden, leeks and onion, broth, lemon juice and zest, a red pepper I roasted, UMMMMm, getting hungry finally. Hubs would surely wish for roast and veggies, but I like variety! He BETTER not complain about this one! Could easily be done vegetarian. Hope the flavors blend well.
Nora, I've always thought I'd like to live in the Northwest, but as I'm older, (shut up, Sun!) I know I love some sunshine. My internal thermostat doesn't work well. I'm either sweating or freezing. Part of my condition, but not fun. But I ADORE the deep forests, the flora there, and it might work well for me overall. No chance, since I can't even get Hubs to move 150 miles to our mountain place! :H But down by the stream, it's always markedly cooler, the wild ferns and wildflowers are abundant, so I can only hope. Do what I said, love. Make this move work, for you. I still believe you'd be happier there, and maybe your hubby too. Less crowding, more nature, and being with people you love.
I'm completely screwed up on days lately. Thought today was Saturday, but last week thought Friday was Saturday. The price you pay for not punching a clock, I guess. Besides, since Hubs works 15-7, it makes it even harder to figure out. I just go by the dates on the calendar I printed with my appointments. Hope you're all happy. Have my wellness doc, (who will schedule my heart test, bloodwork), Dentist for surgery, girl stuff, neurologist, med doc, OH! it seems it never stops. Then Tay wants us to go together for hair makeovers, which should be fun but expensive. But she's been so open with me, wanting me to do things for myself, so I will. Then I have to put up with her critique of my new look!! After all, if I don't like it, I don't pay. And it will grow out, right?? Really, right?? I do think lighter is better, getting rid of my red, from past experience. But for what they charge, they better at least get the color right. Another plus, is Tay has finally realized she needs some low-lights to tone down her platinimum locks. THAT, I'll gladly pay for, since I hate the bleached look. Hope she next ditches the heavy makeup. In Wal-Mart the other day, a guy stopped in mid chat with a customer to watch her go by. Ick! She ignores them; I DON'T! Even with a look I don't like, she's striking. Love my girls.
