Hi to everyone - not going to try to catch up just yet. Have to work on my taxes. YUCK. We have to pay and where do you come up with the money to do that?? But, I've got to get it finished because I think we'll get some back from the state to help pay the federal.

Nora - I don't want a nice cup of tea. I want a drink. The silly thing is I am not craving it. i just want one. there is a difference. I have been cleaning most of the day - and I used to clean and would enjoy a drink when I cleaned - well, I would enjoy a drink when I did anything but that is a moot point - LOL Seriously - I just want one - I really am not craving it! I won't go out and get any. I have Amaretto in the house but won't have any. I just want a drink. Daft really - it is the habit thing I think - sunny day, house to myself, cleaning - and a drink goes along with it. Oh well. The sun is going down and my cleaning is almost finished - still want to clean out the fridge after I have finished cleaning the cooker, so maybe the 'want' will go away. Most disconcerting really as all this time AF I haven't felt like this - but haven't had a real cleaning blitz like this either. Oh well - I just will have to stop cleaning - that will solve the problem.

I don't know jan - habit I think - it goes with cleaning the house when I have a good cleaning session ! But I don't like amaretto and am not going out so there isn't going to be any choice really. I just WANTED ONE.

I am just about finished - still haven't cleaned out the fridge and think I might leave that for tomorrow. I think I have had enough for one day. Feel really good about what I have accomplished today though. Now I am going to start going through the pics that we took last October and find the ones that I need to put in the little photo albums. Then I must re-make the bed - I stripped ours (and the duvets in the dogs beds too) so that will be enough for one day. Yes - my dogs beds have duvets in them too - LOL !!!! Why have YOU been wanting one today Jan? Need to chat? I am around..... Love you girl!

I saw a club and it made me want a beer. Almost anything makes me want a beer....bought my landlords old farm truck today. Its not that great and very old but will be ok for the kids, plus I can use a truck. Went to kids honors band concert and we havent been home long. Really tired. Taking the kids clothes shopping tomorrow which is a real pain...that is a good idea about the photos Sun..MB why do you wash cats?.....

Okay I am seething-- I need Rubes to come up here and ride herd-- if you give a man an inch he will take a mile-- it is nearly 3 in the morning here and Mark is still down with his poker buddies and I can hear them talking from the basement and I am on the 3rd floor!! I went to get something to drink and it smelled like beer in the house from those windbags sweating it out while they sat and played poker... I am glad it seems it was fun-- but from 8 till 3 and still going is ridiculous. Not to mention that all the childcare will be on me-- I know that I get sick and he has to do it sometimes but this is not sickness here, this is a choice! Okay-- will stop ranting-- I am mad that this is part a monster of my own making too but I figured he knew how to act... Especially since he is playing hockey late Sunday and in March has his St Pats bash where they never leave and is going to play hockey in Vegas 4 days after that. Maybe you all can think of how I am going to exact my pound of flesh as that perfume ain't gonna cut it at this point!! To the good I am sober so tomorrow I will feel good while Luke and I are playing!

Turns out the water heater just needed flushing-- took all day to drain it then we flushed-- so no new one now. Met my friend who has so many health issues she makes me look healthy -- I really feel she will be let go from her job due to her missing so much work-- she used all her sick days and is not paid for them now -- but she waits until 30 mins before the school day and then calls in-- I think she is trying to go and then she finds she can't but they can't

Oops-- plan and are getting peeved. I suggested a bunch of options but all had to be unpaid and she needs to earn a living-- she's on partial disability now so that won't work. I felt so bad for her I gave her some money-- if Mark knew he would be livid (especially given the amount of my Visa this month) but she seemed in dire straights.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday-- I can t sleep again so I may drag through mine

MB-- They stopped playing at 4:30-- and 2 of them stayed over (though I bet others should have given my survey of the beer)-- someone even broke a chair beyond fixing! Mark is snoring in the bed so I am up which will not help me tomorrow when Luke and I are hanging. Hopefully he will drag himself out to take Luke to chorus at 4:30-- that is not asking too much. I agree about my friend. Being someone who is chronically ill I get it but I have to say she may be veering into victim territory and that is not going to cut it with me. She has been victimized--- but she is an adult and needs a plan for dealing with it. We cant heal others though. She does some babysitting for us and I am seriously going to take her up on her offer to sit some of the money out-- I doubt she expects I will but I am going to.

i am seriouslythinking about dashing to chicago for a hockey game in late March. Without the Atlanta team here I am missing it. But flights are insane now!

enough rambling-- I want to palnt the patio but I am afriad we will get one more cold spell, Rubes-- what do you think-- would you hold off till after easter
