Good for you Satz, sounds a fantastic plan.....my story...I'm 29!! :H 48 daily wine drinker, been on a mission to kick it for a couple of years, not succeeded so far but I will not give up giving up..not had any for a couple of days though and feeling good, well apart from the normal detox headache and tiredness so your plan to excersise is definately a good step in the right directionLearn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. Thanks Panno. Did you ever consider the drugs route they talk about on this site ? Not sure. I think if there was a doc who would prescribe I might consider . Gave up fags with Zyban - worked a treat. Lost all craving. If there was such a drug for AL too - I'd try it.

Didn't know himself went to rehab - I knew he was a success story alright --- does he attribute his stay in rehab to his ongoing success I wonder, or would he have made it anyway?Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.

Hi Mollers, I understand about you not wanting alcoholic on your file, I would be the same....my Dad was different as my mother went behind his back and rang his job and told them he was an alcoholic and could they help, they put him into rehab so he obviously could not hide it!
Adam got on ok, he is just worried he will get into the lowest class ha ha
I cannot believe he will be in secondary school, Ava is going to Molagas and Mia starting junior Infants all in Sep, I feel very sad about it to be honest, all my babies are going and I am too old to have any more.
On the plus side, I can do things for myself and have some me time for the first time in 13 years"It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"

Mr P is the same as your dad Oney, he's not bothered now about anybody knowing, he's happy in the fact it explains his behaviour before.
It makes me smile when you talk about your kiddies growing up, I'm not much older than you and my daughter is only 10 years younger than you :upset: Our Izzy is now walking !!Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.

Well on the positive side - I went to friggintesco without a single tantrum, I answered my phone - twice -- don't know why me writings going forwards -- I don't always (practically never) answer my phone - and I've just eaten my lunch and am doing nothing till Joey comes in to tell me his latest disaster in his mocks - so all is good!
What an acheivement answering the phone. I sometimes am a bit scared of phone calls.
What did you buy at the shops?? I have been up and down some very icy hills.Very glad of my freshly laundered MWO beanie.
Some great posts here today.:thanks:
