    Army Thread 7th February

Just took a really quick peek back over the last page of posts. Not had time to read the rest yet.

i really need help this time guys, anybody who will be on, or can be on tomorrow and thursday night, or if you ahve advice then i really really need it.Stick around Inchy - someone is always here and you can always go hang out with the Undies if the Ovaries have all gone to bed. And a big :huggy to you.

I'll try to be around inchy, not that my advice is worth much.
Your advice is always worth a lot Reccie. You've gone through what the rest of us have and more. You speak from experience and because you care. :l

Mollybint - delighted to see you back. :h Will have to take the time at some point to go back over your posts to see how things went.

I've been AWOL for the past few days due to an eye infection and instructions from the ophthalmologist to avoid the computer screen :upset: and bright lights as the eye is very sensitive to light. So I've only been sneaking a bit of time on the laptop to do work for the store. However, I just had to stop by to say HELLO!!! Have put a wee patch over the sore eye so as not to tire it.

Shit man, Inchy, the problem would be if you didn't keep coming back.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

STIRLY! was wondering if I'd see you about xD
I'z here, just not posting as much as usual due to various circumstances. Will try to be around more tho' since I miss you guys a lot. Really a lot.

Fine Mollers considering the past four weeks have been somewhat hectic. Really good to see you and to hear you sound so good and positive.

Mr. Stirly returned to work yesterday and is quickly getting back into the swing of things even though he tires easily. He called a few customers today about collections and told them all off in his not so polite manner, so I guess you could say that apart from the physical aspect, he's back to his usual self. At least it takes some of the pressure off of moi.

mollyka;1257731 wrote: Yuck, eye infections are really horrible but I presume with all the necessary meds etc. it'll clear up quick enough?Actually, it's not that bad because I went to have it checked out on the second day that the eye was bloodshot and they gave me antibiotic eye drops, some regular ones and an ointment that I put inside the lower lid at bedtime. It's improved a lot in two days. Was painful on Sunday and that's gone, and the redness has receded a bit. So I'm pleased with that. Still sensitive to bright light tho'.

Well, I beg to differ, dear girl. We all deserve a second and a third and a fiftieth chance if we're willing to make the effort. And you are, obviously, or you wouldn't be here. So get the tail out from between your legs, straighten up your back and put one foot in front of the other. Baby steps, positive thinking and stick close to the boards. We've all got your back and you know that. We always do. :l

Stirly, Mr Stirly sounds a lot like Mr Molly -- considers charm is totally wasted on anything as boring as a customer:Hshit, shouldn't say that really - should I - ah bugger
:H:H Damn, I've missed your way of posting Molly - you just say it as you think it. Mr. Stirly's usually only charming with women and since all of the customers who owe us money, except for one, are men, he doesn't waste words. I actually sometimes cringe when I hear what he says to people.

The drink thing is going quite well, mollers (see my new signature!). There are times when the cravings get quite bad though, last night being a case in point.

Do they put you on a different regime now that you've reached your target weight, jackie?

I'm sitting here eating slices of cucumber with S&P and drinking sugarless coffee with skimmed milk and yet I don't seem to be able to lose any weight at all! :upset:

Naw I'm just eating a bit more bread and maybes the odd pudding or two (or 3).

I've been shovelling M and S cookies down this week so I reckon I've put a couple of pounds on.

:bigwink: I hope so too, Reccie. I have immensely missed MWO in general and the Army in particular. Won't be around too much longer tonight tho' as the other eye is getting a bit tired. ANd I have to go walk Freddoccino in the rain. Again. Me and my yellow slicker and pants have become a common sight around the neighbourhood the past few days. Maybe need to get one for Freddo.

Oh, of course. I forgot. Best of luck with that. Did I ever say that I took a quick peek at FB a few days ago and that picture of you in that slinky black dress and those spikey shoes is outstanding. Jackie, you ROCK!!!
