                What a great analogy.

There are a few of us who enjoyed the deep end so much we forgot how deep the water is. I almost; but I am coming back from the diving board. Knowing how to swim and continuing to tread water are both important skills. Once you learn how to swim you never forget; but the skill has to be practiced regularly to make the swimming team.

I thank God for all of you and RJ in particular.

                God Bless,

                  Dear Irsihlady - Louise,
                  :new:

I am a newbie and following advice very gently looking at old postings and trying to join in where possible, I love the swimming pool and if I could swim in this swimming pool as well as I could actually swim in real water I would be running around my neighbourhood naked!!

Not a pretty thought (too overweight etc, etc) but I good feelings nevertheless.
I have just slipped into the shallow end to test the water - so far so good. But still scared.

                  thanks Angellina :thanks:
Just believe - that's all you have to do

                    Hi Angellina,

Welcome to MWO.. Don't be scared, there are so many people here to help you to get from the shallow end to the deep end.. No one will rush you either, you do it all at your own speed, and when you feel you are ready then you move on to the next bit, but, yes it does seem a bit overwhelming at first, so, as I said, take your time, have a good look around and when you are ready then jump right in...

                    Love, Louise xxx

                        new and struggling!

                        Hello
I have just read MYO ( as well as a million other resources on the subject) and I feel quite optimistic. However, i am in Melbourne, Australia and I have been finding it difficult to source Kudzu, and, I know FOR A FACT my Dr won't entertain the idea of prescribing Topamaride...does anybody out there live in this fair state and perhaps done some ground work?

Hello Jane and welcome to MWO..
You can buy the Kudzu from the health store on this site, but I'm not sure about the Topa...

If you put your post onto the JUST STARTING OUT board as well you will get a much better response to it.. We have a large contingent of Aussies on this site so someone will come along once they have seen it on there and maybe able to help you more than me..

I'm glad you are feeling optimistic and I wish you luck on your journey,

                          With love from Louise xxx

                            Jane,

I bough my supps through this site because I couldn't find Kudzu here in Oz.. I'm not doing Topa. Keep reading - you'll find there's quite a few Aussies here.

                            Welcome.

                              Just Like a Swimming Pool.

I just read Louises post and found it very encouraging - especially the part about swimming in the shallow end for a while. I want to learn how to "swim" and think I will try and come back to this for support a little more often. I always drown thinking I can swim without any help. My Bad !!!!!!
