I walked it first preggers with Ollie at 18 wks then 28 weeks...!
we couldn't find the hill, path road up there,
coz don't know if you remember I used to have a radio station??
so the only way to find a broadcast site was get yer arse up there and find it.....
we went first time 10pm..got covered in spiders,spiked by cactus..nearly fell down the bloody rivine..
was so thirsty..
when we got down went into a "tourist" spar shop...looking a right scratch up me dying of thirst.. and hungry..
sign on the wall "nothing to be consumed before purchase"....
I had a litre of milk drunk before the cash desk and started on the second...
I think she was in shock to say anything to me..
I obviously paid...but I was pregnant, hungry, tired & thirsty......Comment

and it's now called "Mt Jan" not officially of course...but by all who know me in the radio world....where I went up twice and NOT via the track.....
helped a lot of the other stations get up there as well..
see not just a pretty face...have even climbed 25mt masts to connect antennas...
of course with a harness...not stupid..just a bit crazy...!!
