Zennie its people trying to stay in Ireland by giving a eu citizen money to marry them so they can get a passport to stay here. Its widespread in UK and other european countries. Hi Inchy. Pinky dats a pain in the butt that they lost ur claim and now u got more running around to do.

evening guys, a bisy day here, just found out student finance claim they have not recieved my form that i handed in in october and r saying if i dont get a completed form in by tommorrow that i will get no money towards my fees, so thats me driving fecking miles to ahnd a form in thy already have but claim they do not have

Ktab i am a part time student and they don't accept part time forms by email, only by hand as the universoty has to stamp the form to say u have attended

Jayzuz its 2012 tell them to get a grip. Fill in the form and email form to Uni, uni fills in required field and emails to them, phone calls to follow up receipt of said emails, simples, as the funny guy on the tv ad says. Or they could just have you running around like a blue ass fly instead I suppose.

Press the number for foreign students if you have to ring them again. Worked every time for my when I was ringing for my two. They couldn't get it into their head that I had 2 kids just one school year apart.

Ktab that sounds good, but they don't accept the form that way it has to be posted or handed in to the central office if ur part time, ur way is much easier but they don't accept it that way

J.C: im lucky the uni let me phone for free, and have a direct line to get to them so u always get someone to speak too quite quick and free of charge

:soapbox: Pinky I know sorry, it just peeves me that some places of authority refuse to accept that there might be an easier, cheaper and quicker way of doing things. Normally they are civil servants with no imagination or joined up thinking because they dont need to, the cheque still comes in every month irrelevant. Can you tell I have had run ins with government departments before, in particular the revenue commissoners and our beloved the planning department here?
