Strategy needed - oh wise ones

Just got back from Las Vegas and I had alot of thinking about drinking before I went. When I got there I just decided to look at all the people not drinking and decided to be like them at the time. For some reason I had one beer Sunday Nite, why I don't know. The town of course was packed, but to tell you the truth there were as many non-drinkers in the crowds as drinkers. I just let the excitement of being on a vacation entertain me and stayed away from the booze. I of course was sad at times that I could not trust myself to drink and stop like a normal person. But I have a feeling that its not that simple even for those who can take it or leave it. I do beleive that they have other issues like gambling problems et.

      Hi,

I'm back ! Had a fabulous and for the most part moderate week... The snow was the best they'd had this winter so far (but melting fast, it was SOOO hot), the chalet was fine, the company was almost 100% compatible (9 adults & 3 small children - it's a risk!) and I was pretty much in control...:H

Lunchtimes : if skiing 1 small Vin Chaud instead of 2, if not skiing none.
      after skiing : 1 beer instead of 2 -3
dinner : mmmm, first night got over excited, tooo much wine, rest of the week remembered and drank moderately and also drank plenty of water. Felt so much better. (Interestingly, picking up on the pain under the rib thread, I have it too when I drink, it's what brought me to this site eventually, and I felt a twinge again this week after being nearly AF for a month when it had gone away).

We've also bought back a shocking cough/cold virus, I think I'm dying, lucky I can still type.

My Plan now is to go over to the Monthly Abs board for ... a month of Abs.
      Thanks for all your support,

      Pebbles
