Parents crashed out at 6:30ish.
TF, we are flying to Cairns on Thursday.
Snorkeling booked for Friday.
Skyrail/Train trip booked for Saturday.
Sailing the Whitsundays booked for Monday.
Fraizer Island tour booked for Thursday.
I think Australia Zoo on the way home Friday.
We'll be driving the whole way back from Cairns with lots to do along the way.

Apoligies for interrupting your regular programming. I need the nurse for advice. I had a 3 hr foot and ankle surgery 10 days ago. Because I live alone I was supposed to go a residential rehab therapy but there was no space available. So I am alone - very.

I was on hydrocodone for 10 days which did keep my mood elevated and reduced the pain levels. The leg is non-weight bearing for 3 months so I have crutches and a wheelabout, but both hands needed so carrying anything has to be be done in a crawling position. Toes are now bandaged because I skinned them all.

In any event I am having huge muscle twitches - my lappie bounces, lol. I am hooked up to a bone stimulator - could that be the problem?

Thanks for any help - Sunday here so everything is closed - except Accounts Receivable lol. I had to pay upfront the 20% insurance didn't cover.

Almost forgot. Raising sons is a challenge so I was happy to read my son's blog on celebrating women. thewilltruth.blogspot.com. I know you struggle with raising your boy sometimes, as I did so I was grateful to read this and he didn't even tell me! Will have to spank him (lol).

Are they continuing to try for a rehab placement for you? Just keep hasseling them so they don't forget you. You'll at least need drop in care if you're expected to stay by yourself, but keep reminding them that you are by yourself. What if you were to have a fall And how are you to receive your physiotherapy? You also need an Occupational Therapist (don't know what they are called there) to assess your home environment and offer all solutions for modification, especially if it's going to be 3 months!
