What did you see Jonesy? 'The Club'? 'Summer of yer 17th doll'? I always enjoy the theatre when i go, and for me, it doesn't often matter if the play is shit. I just love the ambience.

The 3rd last of our weekly Tai chi and mindfulness pilot sessions for the punters today, and having only been to one, will make every effort to get there today. This 'mindfulness' lark sure is da business.

Great stuff Doo doo. Keep it going. Drinking AL has no benefit to people like us at all. Living sober is win win all the way, every day, no matter which way we look at it. There are no negatives in being sober. Oh, did i mention the freedom, self esteem, self confidence, sparkle in the eye, and huge sense of pride and truth we get? :goodjob:

Hey all you lovelies!!!

Supposed to be off camping for two days before I go to Fiji.... It has poured ALL night long and still coming down. Not sure what it is doing where we are off to (2hrs north). Do ya reckon if I don't shave my legs when I shower I could use that time to build an ark?????

Thanks to all who congratulated me on my 180 days. I would NOT have made it without MWO. Thanks soooooo much. Why I decided after six years of freedom to try to be a normal drinker I'll never know but that's history now!

I'll be back later to update you on my adventure - hurry up Fiji trip!!!!

Morning Undies..only two days left of the working week

Sunny and Nicey - have fab trips both of you

Nicey - I understand exactly what you have been thru, I did 7yrs AF, then started again, took almost another 3 yrs to get back to where I am today. Although thought process was different when I started again (didn't actually think much LOL - was on holiday at Club Med, all incl). with the help of this site, I have changed my complete may of thinking about AL and me and have started the AF journey again.

Being sober rocks!

Tawny......we did the haircuts yesterday. Stressful business for my hairdresser when the little one needs his turn.

I have just lost the battle of the bean bags. Why are those things so hard to fill? At least I had the sense to hop in the bath so the mess is localised but the bag is not full.

Big day today here. Youngest birthday and hubby has quit his job.

Wishing everyone a good day and those travelling have a safe journey.

Drove to the camping grounds, slopped through the water to the site, turned around and here I am!!! Home and dry at last....

Now, get to organizing bag for Fiji!!!! Yeeee haaawww!

MoT - I'm in good company re the long stint of sobriety then a wee break!!!! Soooo glad we are now here together!! This time is different for me too - I'm attempting a more grown up approach LMAO! I'm too old to cope the the horrendous hangovers I was getting, even if I didn't drink what I considered that much. Mind you what I thought was that much may have killed a large brown bear!!!! It's nice to be back in control and not hassled about whether to drink or not. Noice indeed!!!!!

Doo-doo it is good to see you here. I look for you often and glad you are feeling so happy!

Hope your hair looks fab Tawny!! I think you only got it cut so you couldn't get it braided and beaded!!!!

Dentists are nice people.
They are there to help you.
They fix up the teeth that you have neglected.
They often commit suicide because they can't deal with people saying I hate you..
Fortunately Mr Rags can (mostly ) cope with this
