G'day Rags. Yeah, the kid's buddhist songs getting around these days have got nothing on the old stuff. Remember that old chestnut 'The sound of one hand clapping'? Well funny you mention buddhist kids songs as i just got off the blower with me old mate Bhante Kassapa from Sri Lanka. Kassa reckons the above song is taken from a true story where an old monk chopped a kids right hand off to demonstrate the sound of one hand clapping. (That kid was Kassa's granfather)

You mean Turps has passed away? Ian Turpie? Geez. Great he was working right up to the end at least. Vale Turps.

Having a cruisey one here tonight. Might watch a movie and tuck into the choc soy.

Morning Undies and Sundries! Up and at 'em, been up since the crack of getting little locust off to camp, rescuing cat out of a tree and other death defying feats best not attempted with a hangover...tried to post last night but lappie died so it was not to be.

Hope all are busy and well???? that Tawnys guests played nice, Bridgey room clean did not result in a hostage sitch, Ragsey is travelling somewhere, Ella is counting teeth and toothbrushes, Missy's tonsils are rested, Mojo is having only mild Mondayitis and that Sunny is not shipwrecked somewhere on the Barrier Reef. Phew! Mr G is of course off into the blue sky. And Corrie hope your travelling well? Jeez if I keep this up I'll be here forever.

Speaking of which, off into it....have a supply of almond, orange and bitter choc biscotti made by big locust to arm me for whatever the day brings. Sucked up with espresso, its sure to be good.

It was a horrible weekend here, one where I felt I was just not coping as a Mother. I blame the heat, it was 41 degrees and I think it got to us all. The tooth is still in place alas, and I am sure I have another toothbrush arriving tonight to add to the collection.

Can't wait for this heatwave to be over, hopefully just one more day.

All missions accomplished and a rather spekky Agave offcut liberated from a green waste pile up the street......I am a repurposer, not a moocher....They'd die if they knew how much it would cost shoved into a pot at the nursery.....$60 big ones at least.
I think I'm going to start getting up earlier to 'repurpose' things.

I heard all about your heatwave out West on the news Ella and Westies.......jeez I'd be challenged by that.

Poor old Turps.....did anyone see an extremely bloated and hung over Johnny Young on morning TV talking about his mate Turps (pun intended)?

Hope the visit is relaxed and joyful there Froglette.

Shopping attended and chocolate avoided this trip.....

Well Undies. I am privy to some very, very special news. A milestone is about to be reached 'later this week'. Nope, not me, that's ron. Now this person may or may not wish to have this amazing achievement televised, i don't know, so no names from me. All i will say is that i am absolutely wrapped for this superstar, and i always thrill to the grace, cheer, truth and decency that is always on display.
