    Underoos, Doodyheads and internationalistas

    You're all good Mojo :l

Vrooming through here Undies. Had a beaut day with the boy on Sunday, but late in the afternoon started feeling a bit ill ....... and it developed into full-scale flu yesterday. Still feeling a bit rough today, but at least my brain is functioning I'm staying at home until the office is unpacked

G - Bridge posted an internet gardening site a wee while back that had what to plant when for different temperature zones. Maybe if you ask her nicely she'll re-post it for you

      Morning Missy and all doody's,

Ask her nicely? Dunno if that'd work. I reckon she's a wake up to my smooth talkin ways.....

Get well soon Missy. A bit fluey here meself, so might take the week off. Your new office etc sounds very excitement.

Have a fab day out there everyone, and wishing you a positive week Mojo.

I've just heard the news that Jim Stynes has passed away this morning, at 45, after an almost 3 year battle with cancer.

Jim was a terrific bloke. An ex AFL Melbourne footballer and recent president of that club. He also started REACH, which is an organisation working with young people to support them in getting their lives back on track.

          Vale Jim Stynes.

              Good morning all sicklies.

Mr G, don't be dictated to by seasons. Now is a great time to do your construction and build up your soil. Start by tracking your sun patterns for the day (and frosts where you are), and decide on a design for the garden. Plant your herbs, and some winter veg. Get a compost heap going so that when spring arrives you've got lots of goodies to throw on for main growing time. Towards the end of winter you can also start propagating for Spring.
Here is the reminder site that Missy mentioned above:

Garden calendar to keep your kitchen garden growing - vegetables and herbs to sow and plant right now

I think you'll be temperate.....if you know what I mean jelly bean.....
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Corrie, recipe could not be more simple

Chop an onion and saute in olive oil......grate in some garlic and soften......throw in some hot paprika to taste (start with a teaspoon). Cube your chicken and chuck that in and brown, bit of salt to taste. Juice of one lime or to taste, add and stir through til warm. Turn the whole thing off and wait for bubbling to stop then add your cream or sour cream stir through and serve with couscous rice or pasta.

I made this up by the way Used to go to a nice mexican restaurant and they had something like this, but theirs was nicer.

Morning doodies hale and hearty or wan and sickly,

Had to put myself into a cone of silence yesterday to get over my oral and aural overload but back into it today. My favourite young thing is coming up for a sleep-over before heading back to Detroit. AND she's bringing 3kg of mussels. YAY!!!!
