    Underoos, Doodyheads and internationalistas

Nearly tossed me taters this morning. A pile, no make that a veritable pyramid, of rabbit guts by the side of my bed.

    Damn cats ...
Dog you know how to make an entrance....

Now answer the question though, how were the mussels, or didnt the guest bring any?

Mussels were brilliant - cooked in garlic, shallots, white wine (or stock), saffron threads and cream. Allow 1kg per person and use plenty of good bread for mopping up the juices.

Ok gang, I'm off to Vincent On Camelback this evening. Meeting some old friends. Dawn Coe-Jones was an LGPA golfer that I met through her husband. She is back in the valley promoting some golf clubs and gear for women. Since I'm somewhat exhausted I do not look forward to this. You are all virtually invited.

Growing your own saffron is akin to sodomising flies IMHO.

That's some of my stash. I figure I've got about about six or seven -maybe even more - years' worth split.

Thought I'd best get onto it before I got too old....
