Gladdened my heart to check in this afternoon!! Everyone sounds very chipper anad good news indeed that Sunny will be back soon!
After a mammoth and eventful week, things have turned a corner!! The weather has finally turned nice again, I got Australian money at the bank t lunchtime, found Alan Hollinghurst's book "The Stranger's Child" in the 'just returned' section at the library and plan on a slightly early finish to the day. Tomorrow I get to sleep in and then at lunchtime we are flying to Auckland for Crosby Stills and Nash!!
A question about mussels: are they native Australian ones or are they farmed?? I love mussels and usually have marinated ones in the fridge. I love fresh ones better, and they are dirt cheap over here, but Mr B doesn't like them. What do you do with the shells though?????
Tawny - do I remember rightly that the wood is from a storm that took down some trees on your land a few years ago?? I'm really impressed too!!! Weren't you contemplating making a sculpture out of them at some stage?? :H:H
