You are funny, caring and you would be the sort of friend anyone would love to have because you are loyal and nice. Now give yourself a shake and stop making me a kiss bottom...Well that's exactly the same impression I've got of you Raggsy and I've never met you. I only "know" you through what you post. So I'd say "illiterate"is one word that simply does not apply to you.

Stirls you could have hit the nail on the head with Sebastian. He is from a new age hippie style family, no TV, eat macrobiotic yoghurt etc.
Can't chat to him as there really is no time. I'm in there for the 50 minute lesson, then they have munch and crunch which is about 10 minutes, then they are back in class and I'm off the premises. maybe I could arrange a chat with him after school with one of his parents present. There are strict legislative restrictions about being with children without other persons being present. But I might have a chat witn the school principal. See if I can talk to him. Thanks Stirl.
There you go, you see, being the nice person you are who cares enough to teach these kids and also cares enough about one kid in particular to want to spend some one-on-one time with him. You don't have to have us rolling in the aisles, Raggsy. Just be your usual lovely, loving and loveable self. That's all.

Now I gotta get back to work or Mr. Stirly's gonna fire me.

Wishing all of you Undies a good night and restful dreams....

      OK I have to go.
Got carpet cleaning people coming tomorrow as I have a very wonderful Antipodean coming for a coupla daze. Didn't want her to think I'm a messy bugger with coffee spills and Edgell peas ground into the (sob) white ( why did I buy it) carpet.

Far out Rags - you saw the state of our house and housekeeping!! Are you sure you don't want to vacuum the front lawn as well :H:H

And Rags - would you like me to give Sebastien an informative discussion about what it is like being 8 years old and being brought up in the catholic church?? :H Anyway, I'm with the others - you do an amazing job, kids like rebelling against what they have been brought up with, and irrespective of what he decides to do as an adult, he has a good values base to fall back on.

I'm all for kids and the outback, a good stint in the bush. The boundary of no boundary. The awesomeness, power, and reality of nature soon reels em in. Laws of the universe and all that.

But of course, some good role modelling no matter where can always help.

              Love yer work Ragssy!

Hey there folks. I'm in Colorado Springs to watch a friend compete in an off road running race. The weather here is perfect.

I'm a bit concerned about the Frog going to the CS&N concert and taking a big smoke. It troubles me when one replaces one drug for another.

Rags, I hope you are not still in a funk. As the only MWO member I've met in person, I care deeply about you. You are beautiful, caring, kind, adventurous, and lend your heart to everyone here. That's just my short list.

Oh I know how skilled those girls are at repartee. I've also been told by folks that I'm full of wit. Do you think that's what they meant?

                        Have a wonderful day Undies.

P.S. Big smoke? Wait till she gets back because I'm going to give it to her!

Hi there Mr G. Thank's for the apostrophe's. What are you doing with your wonderful 4 days off?

Hi Techie, I'm OK. Just that some of the kids were playing up all through the lesson and that got me thinking I'm boring them etc etc and it sort of snowballed from there, and then I read back through the last 5 days of Undie posts and beat myself up even more. I got to cut them, and me some slack I think.

Techie, of COURSE that's what they meant.

                                Hi Happy,
I have to do some housework too. Having an International Undie coming is a good incentive to clean up. I have SO MANY MAGAZINES.... New Scientists, Cruising Helmsman, Delicious, Feast etc. All goodies that I don't want to chuck. Wonder if I could donate NS to local high school. Oh and Good Living from the SMH all over the place with torn out recipes I'll never cook.
