Oh no!! We wanted underroo grand-babies!!

Hopefully Tina Turtle might still yet oblige

Ok Undies, here is what has happened in the last couple of days and/or will happen in March:

last weekend - weekend at boy's boarding school. Stressful but pretty good all round.

Monday - Mr B gets a call from his daughter (who told him 2 months ago that she never wanted to speak to him again) wanting to catch up. Same day he runs a workshop in Auckland. One of the attendees is a newly appointed manager for one of the health boards, who was his first girlfriend (when he was aged 18). She got pregnant to him and disappeared to Australia when baby was 3 months old. He hasn't seen her from that day to this and it has been an on-going source of unresolved stuff for him.

Wednesday - Mr B has lunch with daughter (aged 24), who tells him she is getting married in November. She is marrying a Chinese bloke and going to live in China.

Today - My most lovely niece, the daughter of my most lovely brother, rang me to tell me she is 7 weeks pregnant. I cried. I'm not allowed to tell anyone in the family yet, but I thought that I might announce it on MWO Today is the second anniversary of my brother's death, and we had a long conversation that was half about how much we missed him and what a wonderful granddad he would have been and half about how ecstatic she and her partner are, as they have been trying to conceive for such a long time. I need all Undie's fingers and toes crossed for the next 5 weeks to get her over the magical 12 weeks line.

        Yet to go in March:
        • having my house painted
        • shifting office
        • having the cats annual health check doneparticipating in an Arts Festival event (and having to learn songs in a variety of languages!)writing a humungous report on a project that I have been running for the last couple of years

Then I can go on holiday
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

That language is nothing Mojo. You should hear Corrie when she's really fired up. Would make a sailor blush! I know i have on occassion.......:nutso: Great going on your AF time too. That is a great achievement, and it sounds like you're going for it. Bravo mumma!

Beaut day at work today, and i now begin me long weekend. Y.e.e.h.a.w.

Rags, roll on saturday. Be careful you are not re-awakening the al beast within you. I did, and i found it deceptively difficult to lock it back up again.

May all beings be well and happy.

ahh thanks tawny, Mojo, missy, g-bloke.
see, on the inner levels I am in a turmoil about not conceiving myself, so whack on all this unnecessary shit onto my poor creatures.
the irony of it does suck, tawns , when you mentioned the ugly fucker nearby- so true!!!:H

missy, I could help you with only 1 part of your list, so if you care to fly me to NZ I can oblige......
congrats with your neice, phew about mr B - he sounds like he has a bit of stuff to deal with & thus you need to be ummm....sainted? is that a word? wtf is the word?
anyway, recognised for your patience!!!!!! Like ragsy.

MoJo, isn't it loverly here atm?
I will be coming up your way in a coupla weeks time......thus we can catch up?

On a diff note, as well as ringing reggie, I rang Mish, just to talk. Sometimes it is so nice to hear another human being on the other end , but one thing I find increasingly shitful is this - I can't speak my thoughts. Really. Truly roolly. Just babble on about meanless shit & think at the end of the convo - ummmm, you dick, you've said nothing but drivel. When I'm whingeing frequently about how lonely it is......maybe I need to take a course, communication 101.

G-blokey, so glad to see you. Wish I could make you blush in many, many, many ways.

                              Evening all

Anyone ever had a liver ultrasound? I am having one tomorrow. I reckon I have just some ligament damage in my right abdomen area but I have to have abdomen ultrasound to eliminate any other causes. Bloods tests are all fine but I am nervous.
