G Block - I admire you! You are a much needed person in the community you work wonders in!

I hear ya Bridgey - oh so loudly.

Off the dentist - NOT excited...... Last time I went I shook so much my shoes fell off!
It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

      Morning Underpanted ones,

Had a lovely walk around Nicey's resort in Fiji this morning.

      Throb getting Mr.G's celebrity updates.

And yep, simply happy is good. Good enough to have done my wrist-strengthening exercises via dough-kneading for today's attempt at some Gozleme. Stay tuned.

Goody Gozleme! want piccies please and a taste would be even better.

Nicey I sweat at the dentist. Would love to say perspire but the sucking action as I move myself off the chair after, has to be heard to be believed...you wouldnt think someone that little could chuck out that much water through sheer and utter fear...

Lovely day Undies, simply lovely. Partly planted out the construction yesterday evening so I will mulch with sugar cane this morning. Mr Happs struggled through food shopping - came with me as an armed guard against the chocs - then planted with me, then fell asleep. Which was good coz he was getting grumpy.

Hey, wonderful people. Feeling much more reflective these days, and I hope you're all enjoying your season change as much as I am (except for the tornadoes that are inherent now!).

                    Morning Undies,

De-lousing done, not sure it was a success and I wanted to get the good old chemicals to kill the critters but the chemist did not have any (runs, ducks, hids from Raggsy), so may need to do it again.

DH did not cook dinner, although he did help prepare, so he can have 1/2 a gold star.

They have asked me not to bring any clothes when I come home, they are going to organise everything but instead pack Whittakers chocolate, especially the coconut rough. Have no idea how much to bring.......I have a 120kg allowance. When they come to visit they bring a shopping bag crammed with all sorts of chocolate just for hubby.

120kg of chocolate - now that is a LOT of chocolate how come you have such a large allowance ?? (hope it is because you are flying business class )

                    Nicey
how cool is that, we stayed at the Warwick which is the sister hotel to the Naviti. it was a bit windy as it was right on the exposed coast and we went in Oct, but who cares when you are on holiday on a tropical island. we have also stayed at the Shangri-la which was great. Have a fab time

You must have a cctv feed from Bridget, as here i am, had me meds (meditation) and ready for action.....err, almost, on my first of 2 morning cwaffee's/drug/addictive, body chemistry altering substance. You know, chocolate is good for depression i hear. It's a mood lifter, as we know......(pity it's not an ass lifter as well...hehe, ah, the wit! sorry)

Well, today i'm hanging out with the stars alright, the 'clients' i work with (I'm a pt. time community outreach worker). The folk who get up everyday who are often 'behind the 8 ball', but nevertheless have a crack at life with a smile not far from the surface. Also, there is a launch of a group today called 'hearing voices' (people who experience auditory illusions), and an innernashnal guest will be speaking. No, it's not David Hassellhoff, Kevin07 or Kylie, although i was on the blower last night in a 4 way hook up till all hours with Kylie, The Hoff, Jamie Oliver and Jim Keays, who all sent their best wishes. Enjoy your holidays NL!

                    A maaarvellous day to all.
and a Marv day to you too Mr G. and thanks for the celebrity update.. hope you manage to get the smile to some of your clients today

Nits.......OH dear Dog.....isn't it amazing how it makes you itch just to think about 'em? How much work is there involved in washing everything that the dear little head has come into contact with and sunning frenetically????

Raggsy, you can't be expected to know this but not only will our boys end up being social pariahs if seen alive with a roll on......'Gay' if you will.....but you have NO IDEA the hygene issues with them.....and I shall leave it at that....

The boy and I watched 'The Help' last night, just a lovely little movie. Can't wait to get into the book, they are always so much better and I can imagine fill out a much bigger story about the social issues involved.

                              Heya all,
I must see TFs lunch project.
Nicey, have a beautiful time in Fiji.

Took my parents and hubs to gold class yesterday, they all want to go back soon. We leave in the morning for Cairns and I can't wait.
TF, I agree with Rags, you need a holiday asap, like yesterday. I think we are already planning South America for 2015. Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile. Going to Maui next year, just need the finances to align with my plans.

OK - by popular demand ... details of The Lunch Project.

Get up early and make dough. Knead like the clappers until dough is nice and elastic. Cut into four.

                                8.56am

Put dough into warm place until it doubles in size.

                                Yep - at 11.14am it's doubled.

So, roll the things out to a ridiculous 35 x 45cm rectangle. Didn't believe I could stretch the stuff that far. Add your filling and close up. So now, it's 11.48am.

Anoint with Extra Virgins and whack onto reasonably hot griddle, 4 minutes per side. It's now 12.39pm

Go pick some lemons and cut the buggers up. It's now 12.49pm

Verdict - very yummy but waaaaaayyyyyy tooo tedious. Still want the recipe, Bridge?
