Hello friends. I am in New York. My good friends mom passed away. It was a sudden thing. I knew her very well and she was close to my mom and dad. I expect to be back in AZ on Thursday and will resume my Sedona getaway.

Hi..am feeling a little bit better this morn. I can't thank you guys enough, I have no idea what I would do without you.

i hate it when my brain has an AL brain fart! The weekend did not start well with AL thoughts, started friday and escalated all weekend until sun evening. Didn't help that weekends used to be major drinking time and that DH and I had a huge fight

If it was not for antabuse..this theme of this mornings post would be a whole different story..how weak am I to have to have to rely on a drug to stop me..

Morning

Mum.....Glad to see that it worked out well. Those urges and thoughts were going to come eventually so it is good that they did why still on antabuse. My own thoughts are returning as hubby is home tomorrow and the bargaining between good and bad begins in my brain. Hubby has promised to give me a verbal lashing if I even suggest having a drink.

I love Mondays.........being sober on Mondays is like having a whole new day in the week. Today I am off to the gym to burn some big calorie numbers and then lunch with friends. Around these I have to fit in lots of jobs and clean the house before hubbys return. I wouldn't get any of these things done if I had drunk yesterday.

Corrie.......you asked if I was feeling down.........just lots of nervous energy about the trip home in 3 weeks. Hope you are keeping well done there and that the weather is being nice for you.

Arvo Undergarments...lappie is stuffed so I am typing from limited work computer and it takes FOREVER to log on...so just quickly, Techie safe travels and just letting you know the end part of your post made me smile when I saw it on the Blackberry this morning, made my day...Mojo, lovely, just remember WHATEVER it takes to have the life you deserve...there is no weakness, this is not a test run or a competition, this is the real deal. Grab it and do what you have to do to get past it. For yourself.

Off my soapbox and hoping this will post...luvyaz Undies...hoping a new mouse will fix my lappie but not 100%...

hey there doodies.

Sorry to be so inconsistent with my posting but we're still having connectivity issues with puter. Being in a "no coverage mobile zone" means we get sporadic internet connection, even apparently with wireless. Yeah, right, don't know about that!!

MoJo, don't get down darl. You're achieving a lot right now just by staying off the piss!
You've got RESULTS, whether it be due to antabuse or not, but at least it's positive results.

Y'know, whenever I go to type "results" I usually end up typing "resluts". Go figure.

Cooler & windy here today, giving horses the day orf, got my bike fixed by the big tattoo'd tyre bloke, so went for a wee peddle...twas good!

Orf to some bigger smoke tomoz for a shopping day, might even pop into that temple of fashion for country folk, Target. Woohoo. Going to buy lots of portions of pork belly. Yum.
& some more turkey mince cos that stuff is AMAZING when pan fried with fresh ginger & garlic. Drool.
Happy, I am truly envious of your veg garden progress, truly.

Where's ragsy lately? Hope all ok.

As for the rest of you ratbags, take care of your pair. Which ever part of the body they reside on.

Evening Blundies....
....and what a gorgi evening it is.....sitting here with a nice cup of leaf tea one of my new favs.....a late dinner of chicken and couscous. I have a new simple chicken recipe with garlic paprika lime juice and light cream....roolly noice.....
Your party sounds a bit of a treat Froglette....haven't been to a house party for a long time....love em.....

Chicken recipe sounds a bit delish Bridgey...you sharing? Spuds and garlic arrived and garlic duly planted, envy noted Corrie...I actually envy me!!! our vegie patch is a bit gorgey....book on permaculture in the burbs to be read, pork and fennel meatballs cooked and ready to throw into pasta sauce and spag...locusts out walking dog and it then starts to pour with rain, so better be ready with towels and stuff like a good mum...

What's your book called Happs? I'm always interested in permie books....
I've got a lovely book called 'Salvation Creek' by Susan Duncan at the moment. Just a wonderful comforting book to read in quiet times. There's nothing like a good book.

Hope your MoJo's back MoJo....shame the bad days don't just bugger off with the alcohol....

Youse all really are fantastic cooks. The dishes yis talk about. Heaven.

Vegie garden envy here too. I'm gonna set it up an go for it. Can i do much this time of year down here, or is after winter the go? I'm thinking tomatoes, garlic, chilli, spuds, broccolli, spinach to begin with.

Hope you are thinking positive Mojo. You have so much quality life ahead of you right now. We all do.
