Super B&I morning but time now to sit back and look at a pantry full of goodies....have decided to cut out the middle man and make all of my own sweeties....

Corrie for you: 1 slice bread in a bowl, splash with milk then chuck in half a kg pork mince, 1 teaspoon each fennel seeds, dried chili flakes, crush garlic. Bit of salt and pepper. Mix it up and make into balls. Fry em in olive oil...and either serve 1. with spag and tomato/chili based pasta sauce or 2. with fettuccine, halved cherry toms, green olives and some chicken stock. Your call.

Bridge, on unwrapping the Permi book turned out to be more of a mag promoting peoples books, ok but not a must read...I wanted something more substantial....something meaty to sink my teeth into....

Ah....good old Readers Digest...used to work for them back in the 80's...we used to get the reject books not for sale as pressies....worst one I ever got was the medical book, gave it to my folks and they diagnosed themselves and everyone in the family for years...when they died it went to my eldest sister and now SHES doing it....

That looks a morevellous book Mojo! I'm sure we've come a long way with gardening knowledge and techniques etc, (or have we?) but like a Charmain Solomon cook book of yesteryear, those methods would likely be timeless. (say's me the master gardener)

A ripper of a day here. Went for a long run/workout through our parks in the warm sun. Plenty of space and not many humans, save for some lovely interaction at one of my regular cafe's, where one can always leave. Chilled and quietly thrilled.

Wishing everyone a calm farm for the remainder of the day.

Actually had a cat once that used the toilet, just couldnt flush....made for interesting conversations when visitors came over....
