    Underoos, Doodyheads and internationalistas

    Hi undies,

I haven't read back, but just wanted to let you know I am okay. Not feeling terribly tough at the moment , but I'm sure I will be in a day or so. I think I have a few more bruises than I first thought and Rescue Remedy isn't quite doing the trick. Mr B is still administering chocolate :-)

      Hi Corrie and Missy,

Glad you're okay Missy. Sounds like rest is the ticket. And chocolate. Getting into some meself.

Great to see you Cozza as always. Geez, what a frustrationment with connectivity! I hope better reception can be sorted out somehow. And what a chef!

Relaxed chilled day here, and loving the few days off work. Not turning yellow, hitting any switches, titting up, and no-one's left me cause i'm a whinger, but i tell's ya, me recycle bin had better be emptied fully this time or i'm starting a thread on it. Ooroo.

Evening Undies...quick check in before bedski....just finished a slice of orange and coconut cake with a side of yoghurt stuff, very dense and yummy....hey speaking of titting up I might have to soon, I've just found some batteries and put em in the electronic scales and I've lost 5kg....Mr Happs reckons its all come off said you know whats but what the hell....I think I can eat what I want so long as I keep up my no drinks and exercise and gardening stuff. How good is that? must google to see how much shortarses should weigh...but really dont care...

Nice to see Corrie and Mojo keeping each other sane...missing Sunnygirl...and her little bump...and other Undies...time for a quick potter to see what I've missed and then outers....have a lovely night sleep Missy and hope you're kicking goals tomorrow, but if not, remember, chocolate works EVERYTIME...

Missy, I think your bruising will come out today and tomorrow. You'll probably have bruises all over the shop. Did you get a check up just in case?

You know, all our animals just run a round together. Dogs, cats, chickens, visiting animals. They just seem to find their own level.

So long as they dont find it with the scrub turkeys....you know we should take a leaf out of the animals book. Or I wish the locusts would. Just about to stop a triple murder between them....

                          Morning Undies,

Yikes Missy - how are you feeling this morning? Did you sleep?

Think I'm back to normal reading and posting with only one more lot of visitors due over the weekend - so I've fulfilled my promise to be a bit more sociable however, I'll declare April a people-free month.

It's an absolutely gorgeous autumn morning here; a pleasure to get out and amongst it. Organic purple garlic arrived which I'll now plant out. ***vroom***

                            I miss Sunnygirl btw.
Can I make a cup of tea first then put them on my eyes after it cools down...

Yoo hoo Undies, I’m back again.
                                Did you miss me?
Sorry for not logging on… haven’t been home long enough for an Undies session.
And off again this arvo up to Lake Macquarie to try to get the sails sorted out on friends catamaran (the friend is up in Qld, and he asked us to mind the boat).
So won’t be back till Sunday.

OOOOHHHH Missy, starting to get excited with your visit.
Cleaned the inside of the stealth Ferrari yesty, and will wash it next week for you.
And next week big house clean.
But I don’t think I’ll get as far as windows like Bridge did.

Missy, what colour is the office ?

Now don’t I do silly things at times. My ill friend lives over an hours’ drive away, but what did I do? Offered to come over and vacuum once a week. And I hate housework. But the chemo is slowing her down a lot and her dad is getting on and has a crook leg, and her kids are a bit young to take on all the responsibility for keeping house. So I suppose it is a little way I can help.

Tawny: How did you like Slumdog? I watched it on the plane coming back from USA in Feb. Didn’t think it was worth all the hype it received, but I missed the last 15 minutes. What happened in the end?

Menopause… couldn’t happen soon enough. Then it did. Another of life’s phases well and truly behind me.

Wow! Did I give my littlies a biggy in scripture (which we all now call dharma class) yesty!
Their little heads will be spinning with knowledge….
They learnt, among other things the meaning of EQUANIMITY!!!!!!

And the eldest kid there is 8!!

But I blew it all when they lingered at the end of the lesson with their colouring in after I had 3 times said pencils down and pack up…. I lost my cool and crankied at them.
Ah dear, so next week I shall apologise to them , and tell them how good they really are and oh Sebastian, is your knee better now…and Freddy tell me again what is the name of your new puppy.

Just read the Cinderella story. The Corries did a song way back. But not about Cinderella…..It was on their 1982 album Dawning of the Day… which I don’t have. But here are the words.

                                Unfortunately not on youtube

In a crumbling ruin all condemned for years.
There lived a widow, such a kind old dear.
For 40 years in a basement flat.
No friend had she but her old tom cat.

One Christmas Eve in the cold and gloom.
A blinding flash lit up her lonely room.
There stood a fairy saying "Have no fear."
"To grant three wishes they have sent me here."

With trembling hands she held forth her purse:
A widow's pension won't go far of course.
The fairy waved her wand around.
And on the floor lay ten thousand pounds.

"An hourglass figure and a face divine.
All my life have I wished were mine."
"Hold tight." said the fairy. "and I'll have a go."
And made her look just like Marilyn Monroe.

This gorgeous figure in the chair she sat.
When she chanced to spy her old tom cat.
"He's my only friend, so if you can.
"Make him my handsome young fancy man."

Some magic dust from the fairy's wand.
A puff of smoke and the cat was gone,
And in its place right beside her chair.
Stood a tanned Adonis with long golden hair.

This handsome youth to the girl drew near.
And whispered softly into her ear.
"Oh. the night is young but you'll regret
"The day you took me to see the vet!"

Next post when I read through the rest of the week to catch up.
