MB, we used to cut a hole in our cat. converters and dump all the stuff out of them to pass inspection. ...overheard my youngest tell her bf she cant tell me she loves me because she doesnt..felt bad at first but I did not love my Mother at that age, so that is ok..she does stuff I do so..(i practice, she practices..I clean, she cleans etc)...anyway..still a bit painfull..

Today is my baby's 25th birthday. Love him so much. Went thru such a bad time in the past 2 years but things are better.

I've been really worried about you in tornado prone areas and it's such a relief to find you're all doing ok.
I'm keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm feeling better by the day. I think my 'shingles' were just a nasty spidey bite as it's settled down. Jan, Mother rang me this morning and told me that if you start getting an attack of shingles if you get to a doctor in the first 48 hours, there's an injection that can holt it in it's tracks and even anhialate it altogether. Tell Bret about it so he can avoid the pain and misery in the future.

Please be careful and don't take any risks with the storms. Have you an emergency-to-go bag packed with all your photos on disc or memory stick and important documents as well as other necessities? First aid kit, medication, clothes etc? I have all my important stuff all packed for that 'just in case' scenario.

Mish, I take them very seriously since our son was nearly killed when he first moved out. His car was crushed and a huge tree stopped inches from his feet while slept. We make sure everything is ready when storms are expected.
Being dragged out in a minute for beeline, Hub's fav meal. Try to humor him but today I'll try to eat too. Tay and JC are landscaping now (Lawd that girl needs a lot of learning:H) but my chicken coop is in the works. She said she has a new flower bed, I asked what she go, she said a whir one, a pink one...

Well it is nice out, sun out, wont be stuck in here cleaning today Glad you are getting a chicken coop Rubes, chickens are so fun. I would like to get some more but think I'll wait...oh Sun we would go to landlords if tornado came...sorry about spider bite Mish but glad doing better....maybe I will get garden ready today. It will be easy since everything is wet...later

Morning Bird - was just sitting outside on the step - lovely and sunny but very frosty today and saw a squirrel that I thought was a rabbit! He has a short tail - maybe 2" with no fur on it - poor thing - he will be chilly come winter although it didn't seem to make any difference to him climbing trees - his balance looked great!!

Haven't looked at the greater picture of the weather this morning - how are you all faring over in the tornado area? i heard there might be snow coming now? Gosh - how awful - I so feel for all those people.

Mish - sorry about the spider bite - but better that than shingles!

Jan - sorry about the Cat. Converter - I have no idea what it is and don't need to know but it sounds important - or not, seeing as people are saying cut it off or cut holes in it or empty it out - the mind quite boggles!!

Mish...Bret has a prescription for Valtrex, plus an ointment and it makes a HUGE difference....he also uses it when he gets a fever blister. That poor man has had bad skin all his life.

Hi Biz - lovely to see you here again! MINDSET is what finally got me to being AF! Have to change your mindset from being a drinker to being a non-drinker. I am doing really well and have been pleasantly surprised. Yes, I am quite safe and the weather today, although starting off frosty is lovely now.

Jan - LISTS! I LOVE LISTS. At college, they made me the Founder Member of Lists Anonymous. Did me a smashing book full of lists with sub lists and lists of my lists all broken down into yet more lists...... it was awesome !! LOL

I am cooking a rice pudding - love rice pudding and am trying yet another recipe to see if this one will work - they never seem to work for me so far this one is looking good. As soon as it is done, I will be heading out on some errands - stuff to get to take to UK with me and just general groceries too.
