Tay has been here since noon, cajoling me to buy her a used Lexus. Just told her to ask Hubs. He laughed in her face, of course, and told her to quit bugging me. I don't she realized her constant 'come look at this' all afternoon was stressful for me. He outlined the kind of cars we had in our early years, how we had NO help, and she wants her first car to be a Lexus?? Told her to think more $1000-1500, and HE'LL talk to her. Real life, baby!

Hallo everyone. Well, got in from work, had something to eat then sat on the couch with a book - and just woke up - three hours later! What a waste of time!

Anyway - brain damage from Neti pots - well, that would explain some things with me I suppose - LOL. Hope ATL is okay..... maybe she is upset - whichever the result is.....

ATL, I'm holding my breath for you.

Nora and Fen, I think I've joined you in the sinus infection. Mine usually starts with an ear infection and then spreads from there. My immune system is right down because I've been overdoing it followed by an emotional shock that has put me in line for every lergy that comes my way.

Sun, OCD is very productive when you're running well, but when you're down and don't have the energy to keep up with your obsessions it causes heaps of anxiety.

Ruby, I have a 1981 Merc as well as my Sonata. What year did Lexus come out? You might be able to find a really nice late model on the cheap. Oh, and I HATE our Easterly wind here...hot, dry and full of allergens from the deserts and wheatbelt. Makes me irritable!

Hey all - slept all afternoon. Going to have to get up & go to work somehow tomorrow. Yuck! I had heard about the Neti Pot bacteria. I've always just used warm salt water in a cup & sucked in up my nostrils. :H Works just fine. Sorry that you've got it to Fen. YUCK!

GOOD MORNING Lovely day today - temps supposed to be ridiculous for the time of year and I think I am going to get my motorcycle out of hibernation !! Going over to visit M-I-L too, and would love to pull some weeds in the garden - so busy day planned for my day off.

Sun, is NO Lexus in my future. Warming up here too, but that means trouble this time of year. Supposed to rain Fri-Wed. Have to face the heart doc at 11:50. ((sigh)) Wonder what I'll get this time? I think being anxious over this is causing more problems.
Nora, good to see you got to rest for the evening. It's good for you, but hope you slept last night too. I didn't much, but I'm not sick.Chantix is working but terrible headaches with it and, of course, no appetite. I see why people with no insurance don't buy it. Full price is unreal!Was eating half a cataloupe with low-fat cottage cheese at 2 AM, my supper. Hope you're feeling some better to day. Are you taking anything like sudafed to help with the congestion? I always ask my druggist for recommendations.
T, Hubs uses a nettie, and we buy the stuff he uses, distilled I think. And yes, Bird, there are all kinds of crappy things people can get swimming. That's how my neice got optic histoplasmosis, which left untreated, causes blindness or even death. She's doing well now, thank goodness.
Fen, no, she doesn't have a job, going to tech school. I blame this on her parents and her mother believing someone owed her everything she wanted. Son was irresponsible too at one time, but I believe he became apathetic because nothing he did helped him make ends meet. The guy Ex is with now has bought her a car and gave her a credit card. Poor guy!
Mish, hope things are leveling out for you again, dear. How's your Mom?
