    Morning everyone. Ruby - no I wouldn't make it in the wilderness. I need my comforts. :H:H I love the beauty of nature as long as I have a nice indoor bathroom nearby. :H
    Would really appreciate some prayers. My 33 year old nephew was having problems breathing with exercise. Went to the Doctor (military) and they said he had asthma and gave him an inhaler. Didn't help and he went back and they ran an EKG. Very messed up reading. They quickly got him into a specialist (didn't even wait for referrals) and they have run a bunch of tests. That was last week and they are still waiting for the results. They are worried about his heart. They've stopped him from all cardio/exercise until further notice. Needless to say, we are all very concerned. He didn't want anyone to know but his wife told her parents and told us. Needed someone to talk to. Anyway, please hold good thoughts for him. :h

      Morning peeps....much deserved day off and still in bed on computer. Hubs car broke down last night, so that's our latest drama.
      I love Bill K. I think I used to have a tee shirt. Thanks for reminding me, Fen!! And I had a coffee cup too.

            Nora, so sorry. Your family has as many as mine, girl. The waiting on those results is hell for everyone, I know. Could be so many things, but the docs are on it and hope so much for a good outcome. He he able to work? So hard for an active young man with a family, I'm sure. Keep us posted, dearie. And tell him NO stress!

              Ruby - He was put on profile two days ago which means that as of right now he is exempt for all exercise at work. His doctor on base doesn't want him doing anything until they figure out what exactly is going on. He isn't in any pain per say. He has a really hard time breathing anytime he does any type of exercise. He said it feels like his chest is going to collapse and like he just can't get enough air in.

                    Nora, since I play a doc at home (right) it does sound like a heart issue, but if it is, at least he's young and strong and its getting treatment. I have shortness of breath too with my heart issue, but not that severe. Again, just praying for a good outcome.
                    Fen, yes, my balls. They're in the refrigerator right now. You have to go back several days to understand. Have a wicked good time. Hope the weather's still good. HOT here.
                    Rog, try to behave yourself this weekend. I'll be gone all day tomorrow to the par-tay a bunch of screaming 6 & 7 y/o boys. They beg me to get on the trampoline, but Hubs won't let me. Says I can't stand up on firm ground!

                          My friend, in a drunken rage, took a gun and blew her head off. I am stunned...and I hope I am not ranting on about this too much. I cannot believe she would choose to die in such a violent way. But.....she was wasted......ok...rant over and I will not bring it up again. I am glad I know the truth because my fury at her stupid act will help me get out of this pity party mode I have been in.
                          Her poor husband adored her and had to find her with her face blown off and blood everywhere, and the poor family had to come try to clean up the mess. I may have demons and down days, but I would NEVER do this to my family at home and and my family here.

                              Love you, MB. It's OK. This is such a senseless, waste of a life, and often acts like this involve drugs or AL. SUCH a sobering thought.
                              I was so upset when my close co-worker did that a few years ago, and he was probably drinking (he always was). Smoking and whiskey had given the cancer plenty of chances to grow in his esophagus. And it was terminal, had lost 100#'s, and he'd always said in that situation he'd do it. Still, he left a devoted wife and 2 daughters who adored him. He spared himself the suffering, but what about others? You live with the 'I didn't get to say.......' for a lifetime.
                              Try to remember the good times, and forget the horrible act. I don't think Mary Ann would have done hers if she'd been sober, but who knows? A variety of pills and a 1.75 liter of Jack Daniels were with her. We just never know. Cherish your life, and your family's. That's what keeps us going and sane. :hug: to you.
