Hi all
Back from beach and had a great time, I hate to say that with all that is going on as I read back....Atl, keep us posted...Nora, I have asthma bad and sometimes that inhaler just doesnt cut it. Well, maybe it isnt asthma though..MB that is tough about your friend..prayers to all...drove down to St george Fri and they only had a deluxe room left by the time we got there which took all my emerg money I had brought, but was so worth it, I got to sleep outside on the balcony and all the stars were out and the ocean and I was so loving it all I couldnt sleep..well bfore that we went out on the beach with the lantern and caught crabs in a bucket and would look at them and let them go...also when we went looking for a food place drove past a bar with a band playing and singer turned out to be old bf I was telling you about awhile back, so I went back there when they went on break and said hi and he gave me a big hug, I had to go though and get back to the kids..today we all got a sunburn and went in the cold ocean and walked up the beach collecting shells and flying kite and it all felt so good...I have been waiting a long time to go to the beach...anyway...catch up my email etc..

Bird - sounds like a WONDERFUL getaway. So happy for you!! How fun to sleep out on the balcony and look at the stars. Can't believe you ran into an old BF too. Sounds like a great time.:h

Good Morning everyone - hugs and prayers for you ATL - wish you would post so we all knew what was going on. Sending you lots of healing vibes and hugs.

Bird - your time sounded wonderful - you sound so happy and obviously really needed it - as I did to come here and walk along the beach too!! It is Mothering Sunday here in UK and I am with my mum, so my timing was wonderful! We are off down to a little town on the coast today - a short bus ride away - and will go along the beach again. Probably have yet another Devon Cream Tea - I shall be fat as a butterball by the time I get back!!

Jan - hope you are hanging in there - as georgie said, your friend needs our prayers.......don't be angry with her. It is just SO sad!!

Ruby - it is a pity that you couldn't find out which hospital ATL is at and visit with her - I do hope that she posts today and lets us all know how she is.

Hi everyone. I heard from ATL.
She is still feeling awful but they sent her home. She went in because she had a crushing feeling on her chest and BP was so high and a bad headache. The crushing feeling went away when the headache was treated at the hospital and the BP started to come down. But then they found out that her Grandfather had had a heart attack and the wouldn't treat the headache with anything but ibuprofen so the headache got bad again & her BP went up.
They released her because there was no sign of heart damage in the blood work or the EKG. She'll go see a cardiologist in the next couple of days.
She's feeling so bad that she's not up to posting. But, wanted everyone to know.

I am at work and it is quiet....
hopefully no drama this week
on anatabuse in the morning and am actually looking forward to it...and I am going to pull out the mediatation book sweet Sunni gave me and study it....Jo's death has made me realize that I want to be in a better place and better for my family and friends and those that need me......I want to be remembered well......

Nora, thanks for the update. I'm so close to her but don't know enough to contact directly, and it's frustrating. I'm guessing I know which hospital she used in the area, and will keep trying. I'm not trying to hunt her down, just be able to help as much as I can. Doesn't seem to me that outside her husband and son she has anyone around to just jump in and do the stuff behind the curtain that needs doing and hold her hand when others are gone.
Bird, AMAZING pictures. The first captures a perfect moment. It's incredibly beautiful, makes me long for the beach. The second, WOW! The Y work SHOWS, girl!!!! You look so good (not that you always didn't). That's got to feel so good and different. Your face especially reflects that loss, but also just the joy and peace you're feeling in that moment. Now. I HAVE to laugh at you and your penchant for dragging things outside to sleep on! While most people would be savoring the bed in a deluxe room (I bet your girls did) you got your thrill on lying out there watching the sky and listening to nature. So next time you visit me with the girls, I'll make up one bedroom for them, and put up a deluxe hammock on the deck for you, with a firepit nearby. You are truly unique.
Nora, it's great you've been around to really help out, knowing how much goes on in your life. You haven't answered yet as to how the family is doing since you left them. Are they good? And your son, is he enjoying his new freedom (i.e. not flying to close to the sun :H). And how are YOU? So reluctant alway to share and complain about you own personal problems, but that's what us buddies are here for.
MB, hope you're having a day off. I don't know your schedule, but I know your Sunday suppers with the family.
Georgie, how are things going in your world? Does Hubby start his job for real tomorrow? It's a great development, but secretly even more so for you, not having to be so worried/frustrated/unsure about how to deal with him and all your own work too. It's wonderful that's he's loving it so far. In a job, attitude means SO much.
I'll be back later with stuff about me. But right now, I'm just trying to get a move on.
