    I'm really proud of you girls and your antabuse. Whatever the pros and cons, it keeps you from drinking, and that's a good thing. And you do need to stop thinking of it as a crutch, but use that time to think about how much better you feel sober, not counting down the hours till it's safe to have another drink. I'm not judging, I just know how I'd be, OK? It's supposed to be an emergency stopping measure, and it works. Maybe you can gradually stop it, take it on varying days, while you adjust to not drinking on your own. TD, this might be a good tool for you right now to insure your immediate sobriety. We have to do what it takes, right?

              Ruby....Ithink it is a good tool for "gettting over the hump" of the first few weeks or a month....
              or as long as you need it.......I just cannot let stress and drama keep driving me to the beer cooler......

                      but Nora....come on girl.....we have got to find better ways to deal.....booze is not the answer, even though it can be a comfort blanket. Every day we do this we will be stronger and feel better.
                      Just think, no hangover and no jitters tomorrow. Or upset tummies, or headaches, or regrets...

                            Yet another terrible long drive to the oral surgeon. Left home at a little before 2 and just got home. Traffic was horrible. That doc won't touch me without written permission from my doctor. Then he says for the actual procedure he'll give me happy gas, then an IV, then a general anesthetic so I'll sleep during the whole thing, while hooked on to a BP monitor and EKG. Talk about coving your bases!
                            We're having the soup again tonight - I'm NOT cooking!

                                Really tired tonight. I know what you mean about the antabuse Nora. Sometimes I get so mad that I took it...hahaha Rubes, spring doesnt really give me asthma trouble, it is mostly smoke or dust, some welding fumes and stuff at work, air pollution, some perfumes..I would like to get a massage but I'm kinda scared, I never had one. There is a place here in town..has anyone had one?...think I'll watch bob newhart and hit the sack..
