Morning, germs. I woke at 3, went back to sleep at 6, and woke about 10:30. Hubs is totally miserable. He looks like something stung him in the face about a zillion times, and moans with every breath. Glad I'm not working for him today, and the guy caught on the drug test is starting today. OUCH!
Fen knows exactly what I was saying, so no problems there. I have a completely open mind except when it comes to close-minded, intrinsically mean people. There is no room in my life to worry over that. 'Nuff said, it's over.
Going out to buy some plants with Tay today. Hubs says if she tries to use our credit card again to order things from Timbuktoo he's going to use her head for a soccer ball. It's all between them now.
Wow! I normally host all the holiday dinners, and Tip has invited us to join them this year and go to the big Easter egg hunt they have at the community clubhouse. Should be fun, but I guess I shouldn't wear my cut-off jeans and old black rubber boots. I'll try not to embarrass her. But I can't promise sheek!
Unfortunately, it's official now what was suspected: Whitney Houston had cocaine and AL in her system when she passed out and drowned. What a terrible waste. It had already robbed her of her reputation and voice, and now her daughter of her mother. We have to wake up, don't we?
Nora, how's the family? Is your son doing well on his own? I know he's loving his independence, though sometimes they go a little nutty when no one's watching. I know mine did! But you raised him right, and he'll settle into being a good adult. How's your aunt? Is the treatment working?
MB, I join you in misery with a sick husband. No one else in the world is a sick as them, right? Just agree with him and give him some green jello.

Oof...allergies! Can he take sinex or benadryl? Benadryl causes sleepiness, but there are other allergy meds that don't. Soon, the pollen will be ramping up here, and I am now affected by it. Didn't used to be!

I tried to get him to take two generic Benadryl last night, and it turns out he just finished a course of drugs detected in screening, and Benadryl was one. They told him ANYTHING that had certain ingredients would show up, and nothing you gave them would prove otherwise. Poppy seeds, anything with hemp products (seeds, oil, etc) too many things to count. I THOUGHT his diet was difficult before, but now?? Because the company has people patrolling the river outside for terrorists, the levels have risen severely in every area.
But I LOVE poppy seed rolls!! :H

Oh - I forgot to tell you all.
My nephews test results show that his heart is ok. Whew! That is a relief. They are now referring him to a respriatory specialist. So, something is wrong but at least it doesn't seem to be his heart.

Ruby - funny you should ask about sonny. Lost his phone night before last. He thought he left it in the cab. Thank goodness he was in a cab. Yep he's lost another phone (Iphone). So, I don't know what his plans are. He'll have to buy another phone. Not my problem.

My Aunt just finished 3 internal radiation treatments. She goes Monday for a CT Scan and then they will schedule the daily radiation. I don't know how many weeks that will be yet.

My brother is heading down here this weekend. He is flying out from here to go visit his kids - one week in Texax, one week in Louisiana and then a week in Mexico City. I am assuming he will be staying at a friends house until he leaves on the 31st. He hasn't mentioned staying at my house and after the huge blow up between hubby & him, I don't want him to. So, we shall see. Gives me stress just thinking about it.

Ok - back to work.....

GREAT news for your nephew. Hope the lung thing gets an easy diagnosis too. It's hard to be short of breath, but he's half my age! Is your aunt holding up well for the chemo? It can be so debilitating for some people. But if it works, then it's great. Won't it be wonderful when they come up with easier treatment? :H on the phone. Wish I had $20 for every time my kids told me they dropped theirs, especially in the toilet! Too bad, you're right. If he has to pay, next time he'll keep better track maybe! Kids think these things grow on trees. Tell him to go to the $ Store and spend $20 on one he can renew the minutes on! :H But he called and told you, right!! Don't host your brother if it gives you one second of stress. You don't need it, and he's a grown up. But I am glad he's getting to visit his kids, and you for a while. Have a great day.

yeah...I have been thinking about Coco...she has disappeared and that always worries me. I ADORE plant shopping. My yard used to be so pretty, but with budget cuts, that's one of the first things to go...
now I have grass and weeds...some the weeds have pretty yellow flowers on them, come to think of it!!!!
Rubes...I take Claritin every morning...would that help D?
