Hubs does take Claritin. One of the few 'safe' drugs he can use. Now my ears and throat are starting to feel funky. I don't normally have a lot of allergy problems, though I am allergic to penicillin. All that means is they have to prescribe me that wildly expensive clindimycin when I need an AB, which luckily I have not in the last years but once or twice.
Have to break the news to Hubs tomorrow I've found the puppies I think I'll get, and may get 2. He won't be thrilled, but too bad. I put up with his job, he'll put up with my dogs.
Yes, it was awful about Whitney. She was such a bright star when she started, and Bobby Brown says 'don't blame it all on him'. I get that, but he sure didn't steer her in the right way. Saw a picture of the daughter and poor child looks exactly like him. My impression of him is NOT a good one. The Bodyguard was one of my favorite movies, and she could act too. Again, such a tragedy. She lived in Atlanta and I was always seeing in the local papers about her being spotted out at night, disheveled and in alone, in seedy places. Just hate it.
Didn't get to go today, stuff came up, but I'm going tomorrow. Got all my plants moved outside, and they sure needed the rain. Wonder where Birdy is? AND T. AND Tony. Hope everyone checks in soon.
Oh, we drove past Evander Holyfield's house recently, and I asked Hubs if that was a country club or something till he told me. MAN! Can you say monument to conspicuous consumption?? I guess with all his kids he needs a castle! Tyler Perry's house is the same way, but it's closer in to Atlanta.

Oh, and Fen, in case I haven't answered you, no, they're not mixed but full Rottweilers. It's just that the man doesn't want to go to all the trouble of expensive records, X-rays, etc, just wants good homes. He's getting momma spayed, too.

So, Sonny has been tracking his phone. Can see it in some place in the next city. NOT a good area. He wanted to go get his phone back. I about freaked out! :egad: :wow:
I think I finally convinced him not to go demand his phone back. That is a good way to get shot & killed. :upset: I'm totally stressed.

Nora, can you call the cops and ask them to retrieve it? They are expensive enough to be worth their trip, and it's for a good cause. NO, he should not go himself. I've misplaced mine often enough, but have been lucky enough for it to always be in a grocery, etc. When I had a Blackberry missed it immediately, went back to grocery and asked Customer Service 'have you found a black Blackberry in the last 20 minutes?' The woman solemnly asked me to describe it. WTF?? I just DID!
Just took Hubs temp and it's a little over 100F. He's shivering, whining like a buzz saw, looking pitiful. Guess who WON'T be sleeping with him tonight?? But he still won't take all my advice about things to do, so whatever. He has to go in tomorrow. I'm feeling much better, slept all afternoon, but don't want any of the other diseases going around. They hit me too hard and take me too long to get over. He'll be fine by Sunday, but it would take me till June to get well. He knows it too, so he's being careful to stay away from me.
Oh, and when he complaimed about our oral thermometer, I offered him the other option. Hee-hee-hee. He opened his mouth.

I made it very clear to Casey to NOT go without the police. If he wanted to go over there, only with the police. The phone has now been turned off so hopefully, it's over. I'd rather that he lose a few hundred dollars than have him risk his life.

Yes, MB, I am. I can't live here alone all the time without my dogs. Hubs is grousing, but he'll get over it. It would be like a big hole in my life to be without them, and I can't tell you what each one (of MINE!) has added to my life. Every time he complains, I point to Satan.

MB, it took me 20 years to get him to go in just for a check up. And THEN it was because his work bloodwork showed high cholesterol and triglycerides. Then he bought everything he could find to combat it! :H I asked our doc to force him to have a colonoscopy and he said that was illegal. Told him 'yeah, but it would be fun!'
I just rubbed him down with Vick's Salve, his cure-all, covered him with old quilts in bed, and tucked him in REAL tight. I think he's breathing.
Just read about a cat that jumped from a 15th floor appt, fell 150-200 feet, and ended up with only bruised lungs. Maybe they DO have 9 lives.

I backed over our cat once. Felt a thump. Freaked out & changed to forward. Poor cat lost most of the fur on his head. Had a flattened out head. We rushed him to the vet and he survived. He was later killed by a dog though.

Once I backed over a pet raccoon I had. He died though...didnt sleep well last night, we had went to a recital and got in late. Then got up early cuz I couldnt sleep, went to work, came home and slept, went to gym came home and slept, now not sleepy..oh well, at least dont have to get up early tomorrow...humid as hell, not liking no winter and havrent had a chance to wear the sweaters I got on sale...think I'll practice piano..
