      Been up for hours and think I'm getting a virus. Alternately burning up then freezing. ((sigh))
      I have a very ominous feeling that something is going to happen, and I HATE that! Sure is just the virus.
      Went to pain doc on Thusday and have managed to lose my prescriptions. Bummer.

          Yes, I do think so. He was miserable for 24 hours but good now. I'm sure I won't be so lucky. My skin hurts.

            Just got back from the hospital. My second oldest brother was admitted over the weekend. He had difficulty breathing (docs had changed his inhaler) and it was discovered that his platelets were dangerously low. Turns out he may have an awful condition known as TTP. Yesterday, he had just received a plasma exchange procedure when he had a heart attack! He aspirated some food he'd been eating, so now he's on antibiotics for that, on top of all the other meds he's on at the moment.

            I went straight to the hospital when I arrived home- he's stable today and doing much better, but can't talk due to a tube that's sucking out infectious sludge from his lungs. :upset:

                Thanks, Nora. The poor man can really use them! :h On top of everything, he's diabetic...and the steroids he's on are making his blood sugar jump around all over the place.

                  I think El Nini is flaring up again and creating havoc in everyone's lives right now

                          Oh my, Fen! I shall complain NO more with my piddly ass problems. And I DO understand being incommunicado at times can have it's drawbacks. We finally put in a land line at the cabin. Praying for him, dear, and keep us posted.
                          Found why I couldn't find my prescriptions. He never gave them to me, faxed them directly to the drug store. I remember looking at them and thought I had them. I'm losing my marbles! Hubs is picking up all 4 from drugstore for me.
