      Right, Fen. Good plan. When he's better let him know there are lots of your friends pulling for him. Have you had a report from him today? Sure hope he's continuing to improve.
      So sorry to hear about Kell, but sometimes surgery is the only option left. Back pain is so hard to live with, and even when she and Vick were visiting I knew she was in pain so much of the time. It's hard to watch such a sweet, caring person enduring days of it. Did she happen to mention what she's doing now? The last I remember she'd finally left that job. Hard to believe those people thought she'd stay without pay, when she had to drive there every day and obviously was hurting. I'd adopt her in a minute! Just don't feel she's ever been really appreciated and underestimates her worth. I'll send her a card today. It's incredible to me she was left at the doc's to have those painful injections alone before.
      Bird, I'm glad you have the flexibility to stay home when you want. With Hub's work, and the job I used to have, we had to make an appointment to be out sick.
      Just got a message from Tip - 'Jack has lice. The end'. Then a second with this picture. I'm sure she is horrified at the thought, but they have become an epidemic in the schools, for many reasons. And all it takes is sleeping in a hotel room with them or being around someone who has them. They transfer so easily, especially among children. Plus, with Tip and JR both working with the public in medicine (JR even has to go into their homes) they could have come from anywhere. When I was growing up, then my children, we never had a problem, but head lice and bedbugs are occuring more and more. I couldn't help but laugh at the way each of my grands expressed their reaction to the treatment! :H

          Nearly 4 hours weeding so far! you wouldn't think so though to see the little that has been done. I am thinking of mowing the grass but am getting tired. Keep telling my body it is only 3.00 - NOT 9.00pm !!! Have to get back into US time. Maybe a nap...? LOL

          Your grands don't look too happy about the caps and lice treatment ruby - not that I blame them in the slightest - although I never had them, treatment has muchly improved from what I remember !!! Do hope Grateful will be better after her surgery. I had no idea she was having any - poor Grateful..... she is in my prayers.....

          back outside - I think.....
          How simple it is to see that we can only be happy now and there will never be a time when it is not now....

            Rubes, is the first kid "Ry"? He looks freaked out, Jack looks like "THOR! KILLER OF LICE"!...while granddaughter is taking it in her dainty stride. :H

              Talked with sister-in-law today. Thankfully, the breathing tube has been removed from my brother. His platelets are way up to 75,000. He's continuing to improve. My sister-in-law must babysit their granddaughter tomorrow, so mom and I will sit with him then. It's just comforting for him to have somebody there, you know? I will tell him tomorrow that all of my peeps are praying for him and asking after him. :h

                        Yes L-R are Ry, Jack, & AB. Nothing bothers Jack, as long as he's doing it Ry will tough it out, but AB'S terrified about her 'image'.

                          AB looks like she's handlin' it. Lice have been a plague in the schools for decades. They always made the rounds through our schools. My sisters and I never got lice, but baby sis got scabies once, and we all got pin worms from playing in the dirt one summer. Normal kid plagues.

                            I know, Fen, but this NEVER used to happen here. And son's kids had them, now Tip's, and both their houses are 10X cleaner than mine!

                                I think I was a horrible warning MB. YOU'Ve seen my cluttered cabin, but I love my old stuff. So does Hubs, but he's also a slob!
